I smiled, “I thought you’d never ask. Would you mind if a couple demons shrank down really tiny and came with me?” King Izzoth smiled, “You read my mind. I will send four with you.” Then Queen Eden smiled, “And I will match his with my angels. You can’t have all bad influences.” Everyone at the table laughed, including King Izzoth. Then Blitz, leader of the werehawks, added, “I will have several of my guys watching over you all as well.” Then, I asked Queen Carina, “Do you think I could have a couple Fairies come with me too?” She smiled, “I was going to suggest four of them.” Elliot smiled, “This is why I love being a part of this alliance. It helps me a lot to know that my mate will not be alone in that castle.”

When I opened my eyes, all of my siblings were looking at me. Taylor shook her head, “You really are a sucker for punishment.” I shrugged, “I’m pretty headstrong. Ask my mom. As Dahlia storms into the room, she screams, “How the hell have you been talking to people?” I laugh, “Nobody has been here. I talk to people in my sleep. Why?” She looks out the window and stops in her tracks. She is captivated by whatever memory she is seeing now.
