"You did such a good job," Simon protectively held the little bundle of fabric. He gazed down totally fixated on every aspect of his son. He sat on the edge of the bed, giving Jade a look that seemed like love. Realization seemed to hit him and he quickly hid it," do you need anything?" "Water... maybe something other than hospital food?" Jade forced a smile. Simon kept his gaze on her for a moment more before getting up. We all moved for him to exit.

"Do we have to go back?" Simon's voice came out shaky."Alpha's orders," I offered him a sympathetic smile. My eyes shot open as a loud thump woke me from my sleep. I sat up straight to look for the source of the sound, only to squint in pain at the feeling of sunlight in my eyes.
