When I regained my consciousness back, I felt immensely exhausted most probably caused by the rush of adrenaline. That was something I wasn’t expecting at all. I managed to dash across the woods easily locating a shortcut but even then, it was already too late for me. My entire head was covered with a sack that awfully smelled like chicken dung. I couldn’t see a shit except for the dots of light coming from the miniscule holes of the sack. When I tried moving, I instantly found out that I’m restrained against a wall made out of wood. My hands and legs are chained on all four different directions limiting all of the movements that I could possibly make.

“I-I think he’s already awake.” A voice stuttered from a distance. If I’m hearing it right, the voice was coming from Carmine but it sounded way too far from where I was being held captive.
