ROGER WILLISI threw myself straight into bed right after having a nice and hot shower. Lying supine with my face on the pillow felt good and soothing somehow after that long and excruciating training. My weekend didn’t go as I planned and thanks to Idris, I’ve got some muscle fatigue to think about. I thought I’m going to have an off time with Idris but yeah, he was taking the training quite serious than what I was expecting. I was exceedingly exhausted after that wild training but I was kind of surprised at how I did today. I managed to land an actual hit at Idris for the first time since we began and though he’s still way much stronger, I’m glad that I succeeded somehow. I guess that pep talk I had with him gave me enough strength and reason to give something.I began thinking about my family. I don’t want to pull them in this quicksand of danger that I’m currently sinking in. Of course, I still want my mom and dad to repair their bent relationship. They’ve come a long way from the
ROGER WILLISYannick displayed some heightened keen senses just as I expected. He managed to catch the punch coming from Idris even though Idris made sure to move as inconspicuous as possible. While he’s at it, he held Idris’ hand firm like a vice grip and in a quick snap, he pulled him closer.“Idris, hahaha!!!” Yannick released a brief laughter as he stared at Idris’ widely surprised face. “You haven’t changed a bit, my dear beta. You’re still slow just as I remember it.”“And you still look highly of yourself, Yannick.” Idris volleyed back. Idris didn’t appear to be taunted by Yannick’s words. “Whatever you are planning, you need to stop now. The whole pack’s waiting for you.”Yannick released a snappy and powerful kick hitting Idris by the stomach and eventually sending him rolling onto the had ground.“Fuck your pack. Fuck your measly pack of weaklings. I have my own pack now and I’m here to collect someone who could possibly become my beta.” Yannick announced as he slowly swivel
ROGER WILLISI wasn’t entirely sure what went through my head when I kissed Mr. Lykaios while he was asleep. I almost thought that I was doing nothing but taking a closer inspection of his face but then I felt this sudden urge, an unprecedented desire of wanting to touch his lips. Maybe I was just curious of how soft it was since it looked plump. It’s also quite possible that I was unconsciously drawn out by the serenity painted in the canvas that his face. He’s always looking at me with some ice-cold barrier, refusing to show emotion, and I guess gazing at a peaceful and uncalculated Idris made me do the craziest stuff that I’ve ever done in my entire life. Or perhaps I just knew I was thankful that he’s always showing up in clutch times even though I didn’t know I needed some kind of help.Panic struck my whole senses once I realized what I was actually doing. I know it wasn’t morally right in every angle to kiss Idris. One, he was sleeping and he has absolutely no idea that I just
ROGER WILLISAlthough I have been restless when I came to school today, I was trying my best to convince myself that everything will be okay. I guess I would deduce that I have the right to be restless and somehow keyed up because of that frightening encounter with Yannick at the woods. Being cornered by him seemed like a hazy scene in a bogeyman dream that used to happen in my dream as a young kid. While Yannick appeared more humanly, the way he was giving me those devilish smile and the pale skin with the glowing eyes, it made me shudder. I couldn’t move and the look in his eyes was definitely making me move towards him. If he came all the way here just to ask me to join his pack, it’s going to take some time before he shows up and try to convince me once again. The day went on and it felt like the hands of the clock’s just passing by pretty quickly than I want it to. I wish I could just freeze the time to give myself some time and let this weird feeling pass by. But that’s just not
ROGER WILLIS “What were you doing, Willis?!” Idris questioned my actions the moment he took me at the nurse’s clinic. I made it perfectly clear that I don’t need to go to the clinic albeit having a busted lip, however, Idris was adamantly insistent. “I-I was just trying to help that guy. Benjie’s bullying him.” I explained even though it’s obvious that I was trying help someone. I’m already starting to feel a pinch of remorse from confronting Benjie. “Are you trying to be the hero now? Is that what it is?” Idris carried the first-aid kit, pulled a chair and eventually sat right in front of me. “What? I’m not trying to be the hero but am I supposed to let that happen?” He may be right that I’m trying to play the hero. “Yes, you are supposed to let that happen. It’s the cycle of society. One gets oppressed and the other oppresses.” Idris muttered and it felt utterly heartless of him to say that fallacious argument. “Are you trying to tell me that you’re tolerating bullying?” In wha
ROGER WILLIS “What the fuck is that?!” I shuddered at the horrific sight of such monster. The creature had some sort of veiny bat wings protruding from its back. The wings appeared larger than the usual bat wings and its using it to stay afloat above the ground since it doesn’t even have any legs and pelvis at all. I could even see it’s bloody intestines just hanging loosely on its waist. It looked like a woman with a long frizzy hair and an exceedingly pale complexion, almost translucent that you could also see some veins. It has a long tongue that’s probably around the length of a twelve centimeter ruler. Its eyes were blood red and it seemed like its eyeballs were about pop out at any moment. Just what kind of awful hideous creature is this? “Holy mother of Christ!!!” Someone voiced out from behind and when I turned around I saw Norman and Diwata inching their way towards me. “Hey!!!” Idris yelled, however, the creature ignored him and continued to devour the poor unborn chil
ROGER WILLIS The winged-ghoul screeched in absolute agony as the dust that Soraya threw burned through it’s already popping eyeballs. The blaring shrill reverberated throughout the hollowness of the gym. “Soraya!” I cried as I leaped near her and Idris. Idris was breathing heavily out of the unprecedented exhaustion. His face was a painting of agony and that’s most definitely coming from his wound. “Id… Mr. Lykaios are you okay?” Holding him by the arm, I asked gritting with so much concern. “I’m fine.” He muttered casually removing my hand from his arm. “Don’t mind me, we still have to take care of that creature, whatever that is.” “What is that?” Soraya looked disgusted by the presence of such devil. “Diwata said it’s a winged-ghoul, some sort of a flying vampire than can sever its upper torso from its legs.” I replied basically telling her what Diwata just explained earlier. “What happened?” Idris groaned talking to Soraya. “We were in the middle of our P.E. class when Mrs. W
ROGER WILLIS “Jesus f… This thing’s absolutely disgusting.” Norman cussed out the moment he and Diwata brought the pair of legs right in front of us. The second half of the winged-ghoul’s body was just as bloody and even revolting. I’m not good at human anatomy and this looked scientifically impossible. We had to cover our nostrils since it smelled like a rotting flesh that’s been left in a warm temperature for a long time. It does look alive, the veins and other parts were moving as if there’s still something sustaining life to them. We could see the flesh that was left and it just struck confusion as to why it could sever and separate its torso from its legs. “What are we going to do about it?” Soraya asked. “The salt, where’s the salt?” I asked Diwata. I remembered what she just told us a while ago. We could kill this thing if we pour the salt right at the flesh of its lower body. “Here.” She handed me the whole package of salt. “We got that from the cafeteria.” “NOOOOOOOO!!!!
