Chapter 6

Hayden's P. O. V.

I went to the mall after I was done hanging out with Tracy. There was a motorcycle supply store I've been meaning to check out. I finished browsing the store after a few minutes then headed home. I happened to look inside a clothing store and what do you know, my sister and little miss Millie is trying on dresses. So naturally, I had to go bug them.

She put on a tight little red dress and boy, was that hot. A little too hot in my opinion. I decided to hide behind some clothing racks and eavesdrop on their conversation.

So Millie is trying to impress big bro by wearing something sexy? Very interesting. I decided to help her out. I knew what kind of girls Zack was into. Sweet, innocent, goody-two-shoes type of girls. A total girl next door, sort of like how Melanie acts in front of him. He wouldn't like that sexy red dress she was wearing. That type of dress would only impress a guy like me. She needed something more subtle for the big bro. So I helped. I picked her out the perfect dress.

She seemed happy with my pick. Her eyes lit up when she saw herself in the mirror. Does she always have to be so damn cute?

I forced my mind to stop thinking about her again. I had zero chance with her since she will always love my idiot brother. I wonder if he will ever notice her. He was always going back and forth with Melanie. I wish he'd stop and realize what kind of a bitch Melanie is.

I went to the department store where I worked as a cashier. Since I decided not to go to college, this was the best I could do so far. I know my parents thought I was a total loser and wanted to get rid of me as soon as I turned eighteen but thanks to my dear brother, they let me stick around and be part of their family. Which is another reason why I needed to save him from Melanie and get him a good girl like Millie. I owed it to that poor bastard.

I decided to visit Millie after work. I am going to teach her how to win Zack's heart. It would be like killing three birds with one stone. She'll get what she always wanted, Zack gets a better girlfriend than Melanie and I get to see her more often.

Okay...I'll admit it is creepy to fawn over your brother's potential girlfriend but I can't help it. She is just so perfect. I'd try to win her for myself but I'll bet she'd rather die than be with me.

I texted Millie on my lunch break.

"What's up my little monkey?" I typed and hit sent.

"Ugh...what do you want?" she texted back after a minute.

"Sheesh, rude much? Lol. What are you doing later tonight?" I texted.

"Nothing, why?" she replied.

"I was thinking about coming to visit you, you free?" I asked.

"Why would I ever want to see you?" she answered.

Awe...she really hates me, I thought and grinned to myself. Break my fragile little heart why don't you?

"Because, my little visit may be very beneficial to you," I texted.

She didn't text me back for a moment. I could imagine her sitting on her bed racking her brain to figure out what I meant and if she should give me a chance to explain. I had a feeling the curiosity will get the best of her.

"Fine, I'll bite. What do you mean?" she asked in her text.

"What if I told you, I can teach you things that will help you win my brother's heart and you can finally get what you've always wanted?" I hit send.

"Meet me at my house at 8," she said and I smiled.

  • The Wrong Brother   Epilogue

Millie's P. O. V. "So, you are going to accept that position in New York, so does that mean you'll be moving there permanently?" Zack asked me. "Yes. Alison, Hayden, and I have already found an apartment. Hayden found a job as an IT there, so we should be all set," I said. "That's great. I'm happy for you guys," he said. I finally graduated from University, so it was time for me to start a new chapter of my life. It was Hayden's birthday today, so we gathered around at his house. I guess in a way, it's also a going-away party since we were moving away soon. It was also the time for REVENGE! He thought I forgot about the cake incident at Alison's party all those years ago but nooo. I have been waiting for the right opportunity. And now is my time. We gathered around to sing happy birthday. Hayden wrapped his arms around my shoulders and gazed into my eyes lovingly as I stood next to him. His mom fed him a piece of cake. Then it

Hayden's P. O. V. I was relieved when Millie said she believed me. I don't know what I would've done if she had left me. Probably kill both Ellie and Kevin. I needed to find out what the hell their deal was. Ellie definitely wasn't into me. She did that to help her asshole brother Kevin who was obsessed with Millie. I knew that deep inside. "I need to confront those two. Enough is enough," I said grimly. They took things too far. They are lucky I wasn't calling the police on them and pressing charges for assault. "Yeah, you are right," Alison sighed. "We can't let Kevin harass Millie later after you leave. He probably thinks he had won." "Let's just show everyone that we are still together for now, and their idiotic attempts to break us up didn't work," Millie said angrily. It was time for us to head back, so we packed all of the stuff and headed to our cars. "Is everything okay? You didn't really sleep with Ellie, did you?" Ja

  • The Wrong Brother   Chapter 68

Millie's POV. I woke up in the morning alone in my bed. Was Hayden awake already? It wasn't like him to wake up early. He always complained about how he wasn't a morning person. I wondered if he was too drunk and fell asleep in the living room. I got up and took a quick shower, then went to look for him. He wasn't in the living room. All of a sudden, I heard Alison screaming, so I went to see what was going on. My heart stopped as I saw Hayden in Ellie's bedroom. They were both half-naked. I couldn't stop my tears from flowing down my cheeks as Ellie said those ugly words about Hayden. MY HAYDEN! I ran out of the room. My mind was clouded with anger and sadness at first. I tried to breathe slowly to calm myself down. There was no way what I saw was true. Hayden could never cheat on me! But what if it did happen? What if he did sleep with Ellie in a drunken state? Would I be able to forgive him? I couldn't think. I just needed to get ou

Hayden's P.O.V. I woke up in the morning with a terrible headache. What the hell happened last night? I turned around, expecting to hold Millie but sat up abruptly as I realized I was lying next to Ellie. Ellie woke up and sat up next to me. "Good morning, sexy, you are up early!" she said. "What the fuck is going on, Ellie! Why am I here?" I said and looked down. I wasn't wearing a shirt. Although I still had my jeans on. "What do you mean why? Don't you remember our amazing night together?" she pouted. "I don't know what the hell you are talking about. I had too much to drink, and now I woke up next to you. Explain yourself, Ellie," I demanded. Ellie's smile disappeared, and her eyes turned cold. "You are being mean to me, Hayden. As far as I know, you wanted this. You couldn't wait to take me to your bed last night." "LIAR!" I screamed and grabbed her shoulder. "What's all this commotion?" I heard Alison say and open

Hayden's P.O.V. "Who wants to take shots!" Ellie exclaimed. "I am good," Millie said. She winced. Not a fan of alcohol, I guess. My good girl, I smirked as I thought to myself. The others voted yes. "Hayden?" Ellie waved the bottle of tequila at me then poured some into a cup. "Sure, I guess," I nodded in agreement. I started to drink early because I was the family's black sheep, so I was used to it. "Oh, come on Millie, stop being a goody-two-shoes and join us," Jacob said. "She said she doesn't want to, so don't pressure her," I said and wrapped my arms around her protectively. She put her head on my shoulder and snuggled up close to me. I held her hand and gently squeezed it reassuringly. We were at Ellie's grandfather's beach house, and everyone decided to gather around in the living room. Ellie poured tequila into shot glasses and passed it on to the rest of us. "I think I am gonna turn in," Millie

  • The Wrong Brother   Chapter 65

Millie's P.O.V. After a nice long day at the beach, we went back to the hotel. Hayden grabbed me before I had the chance to go to the bathroom or change. God, what am I going to do with this guy? "Alone at last," Hayden smirked. "What are you planning to do about it?" I pretended to look scared. "Oh, I don't know. I guess you are about to find out," he said and pressed his lips on mine. I grabbed him by the neck and pulled him closer to deepen the kiss. His hands searched throughout my body, sending a tingling sensation all over it. I was already turned on from watching him lying on the beach shirtless, so I was hardly in the mood to protest. "Hayden....I..." I tried to speak in a hoarse whisper, but he kissed me again and shut my mouth. "Shh...don't push me away this time, just let me make you feel good," he whispered, and I nodded. There was nothing I wanted more than for him to touch me. He took my swimsuit cover-up
