As I gathered my things to head over to Amelia's place, my mind buzzed with concern for her and her younger siblings. Before I could step out, my phone rang, displaying an unknown number. It rang three times, but whenever I answered, there was no response, only silence on the other end.

Frowning at the strange occurrence, I tried to shake off the odd feeling lingering within me. But just as I was about to set out again, my best friend, Alex, called, insisting on meeting at the club.
