I could feel the tension and I didn't need anyone to tell me that the king hated his brother who I now identified to be Fred.

I pulled free from Alpha's hold, hastened my steps out of there before I got pulled in between the tension.

I didn't know what I was supposed to do now that I had a bath with him.

I went straight to Melanie’s room, hoping that she was awake already.

I knocked on the door and one of her roommates opened up.

I got in and saw her sitting on her bed getting dressed to start work in the palace.

“What brings you here so early in the morning?”
