Don't look back

Lying in bed, I waited for some sign of Mike, if he didn't come I would go back to the same place to see if I could find him there. I wait a few more minutes, get out of bed and start to feel anxious and impatient. I start counting to ten, while walking around in place. Soon I hear the door slam, I immediately open it and see Mike. I already knew how to differentiate Lucas's personalities.

“ Shhhh “ Mike said with his finger in his mouth.

I nodded positively. Without half a word, Mike turns his back on me and starts walking and I follow him, seeing where he takes me. Along the way I hear voices coming from far away, the voices that have been asking for help for days.

“ Do you hear it too? “ I asked.

“ Ever! “ Mike says, walking, lifting me to the door that crosses the red line, the same door as last night. I walk and look into my eyes, I see Nancy in one of the rooms.

“ Do not look! Never look…."

“ Why?"

“ If you look, you'll end up giving up on continuing... Don't get distracted
