Chapter 17. A tactician.

"I'll go first." Brenda said. She made a quick call as she stepped outside, soon the caretaker opened the door and came out. We could see her from outside the gate as she looked around with caution, finally she made eye contact with Brenda and signaled for the gate to be opened. My suspicions for the caretaker rose, just who lets a stranger drive into their house, I glanced at the woman who stood unmoved, waiting for us to come in, maybe they were acquaintance, a not sure but but whatever it may be, I do hope she’s not here to harm my family.
