Apparently I've been locked up in my room for almost three weeks now. All I do is wait for my breakfast, lunch and dinner to be served to me. Apart from the maid, no one was allowed to come into my room. Am growing bigger and rounder with each passing day, Richard would visit me late in the night to check on me, when I asked him why things are turning out this way he would call it a natural rapid development, then he would stay with me till I had fallen asleep. Regardless of this, I am feeling rather cooped up and each day is feeling like nothing new. In short, I am slowly falling into depression.
I have come up with tons of activities that would keep me away from falling into further depression. Like taking up new hobbies, like drawing, cosplaying, reading books, and more books, I even decided to learn embroid
Hah. I never imagined that talking to someone could feel this refreshing. I feel energetic and pumped to start my day, although I am a bit upset. Richard left without uttering a word last night, he didn't even return to check on me which is unlike him. I slowly approached the door, and grabbed the handle, twisting it open and yet, another failed. It's always locked. After I moved away from the door I glanced at the wall clock. It's almost time for breakfast to be served, she should be coming in any minute now. It may seem unreasonable but I've given up on escaping, I can't outrun them, plus I'm pregnant, and there's my smell, Richard seems to have a nose for that one, so until this baby is born I can do nothing. "Your majesty, I’m coming.... what?! But I.... Oh okay." I stood up from the couch and walked towards the door, what was she talkin
Richard stood by the door as he helped me carry my bag, which was filled with all the necessary things I would need since it was going to be a long trip. "You look tired." Behind him were the rest of the family, who gave me quite a stare. They were fond of ruining all my opportunities to have fun but not this time. "Do I? I don't think so." I quickly deny. "So there's no need to cancel our trip." Truth be told, I didn't get even a wink of sleep last night as I was too anxious, but I feel pumped about this trio, especially when he said it was going to be a two days journey, we were going to visit London this time, and that was all it took to make my day. When I told Mal about our plans, he at first was against the idea, but his opinion changed in not less than a minute. I can't wait to step out from this place.
***I wasn't sure how I was going to react or treat her as she stood waiting for me to walk right into her arms. I carried myself and walked towards her and the moment I was in the middle of both arms, she locked her arms and gently patted my back. "You have no idea how much I wanted to see you." She whispered in my ear. She released me but held onto my shoulder, "tell me, has this bastard been treating you well, does he scold you, or give you the attention you deserve, tell me if you have any problems and I shall solve it." She said with a glare directed towards Richard while he avoided her gaze. I shake my head and defend Richard but she still didn't buy it, calling him all sorts of names and raining curses on him.Although Richard didn't speak or reply to anything she said,
We started with books, they had a vast knowledge of literature, some of them could already recite the next lines of these books, so most times they would complete my sentences for me. The more I got to know them by being around them, the more I wished I could stay with them, but then I still had to see others, so I had to move quickly. After I had finished the book, the young ones applauded with excitement. I could hear the sound of Richard also applauding, he walked towards me and gave me a light kiss on my forehead. “You did well.” He said. After handing back over to their teacher, I walked straight to the next class. And just like that, I went on with my day, heading from one class to another and getting to know them a lot. Finally I was exhausted, Richard would reach from the bag and take out a bottle of water or a handkerchief to da
We had to leave at once, so we had to stop at the hotel once more so we could get all our belongings before we left. I was bothered and worried about Richard and his behavior, he just seemed so distant and difficult to approach. He did try his best so I wouldn't notice by smiling everytime our eyes met, but that wasn't enough to convince me that he was okay. "I'll go out in the car." Although that was an excuse to get away from me for a while, I could tell he needed some breathing space.I got ready, and sat on the bed for a while, thinking of how I could approach him, but for that I would at least need to know what was going on with him right? But how could I have an answer to that when he's so distant with me, it's more like he doesn't want me to know.Knock Knock!
Jake's point of view]I was surprised when my doors burst open and Richard rushed into my house with his wife in his hand. Mira was unconscious, and Richard looked like he had seen a ghost, his eyes were wide open as he carried her, begging for help from my brother and I who he had distanced himself from.He told me that she had fallen asleep on their way back, and he was also asleep, unfortunately by the time they arrived she was still asleep, he had thought that she was asleep but that wasn't it. It's been a full day now and she still hasn't woken up. "Please help us." He begged with her in his arms.I didn't know what to do, and there was nothing I could do. I remembered Mal's words, and knew that her delivery
I know it's nothing but a pair of eyes from a painting but the true meaning behind this painting freaks everyone out, she didn't need to know why it meant, cause if she didn't she'd be horrified. Jack looks at me and I at him, I shake my head, telling him not to say a word about it, he nods. "That my dear is the eyes of Lord Ego." Jack tells her. Regardless of the fact that he sounded like it was no big deal just now, I could sense how Jack trembled from his voice and how he just hesitated. He was staring at the painting with such intense fear, trying hard to maintain his composure."Well, it looks beautiful, I love the painting, why didn't they paint the rest of him?" She asked. She had no idea she was killing us from the inside, no one had the guts to look at this painting, not even our mother. It's been this way ever since he stepped into the
I felt blank, at a total loss of words, Mal didn’t look like he was kidding, his eyes were dripping out black blood and I know what it means. He always had dark blood dripping down his eyes whenever he saw something horrifying. Mal was born a pure vampire unlike my brother and he was blessed with extraordinary abilities, one that made my brother and myself unqualified to ever call ourselves a king. “Mal, listen to me. Calm down okay, just tell me what you saw.” I try to reason with him, it’s useless trying to get anything off him when he’s in such a state. “Breathe.” I told him. “Now, tell me what you saw.”“The curse had already begun the moment she conceived, that thing in him is killing her. If it’s born then you have my word when I say even you shall fear him. This house shall be divided
