He hesitated, confused about how to ask her out on a simple date, he suspected she might reject him. she was still hurt from her breakup with her ex. And he was her boss, he knew she, never yield plus she already gave her preposition on him not being on her list.

He didn't want her love, he just wanted her body and what it could offer, he didn't want her as his girlfriend, he just wanted a sexual relationship with her. He knew he could give her pleasure and fun, his problem was how to go about with his plan.

He has to find a way for them to be alone and from his office, an idea came up and he needed to act fast on it.

" The timing of the wedding came at the wrong time, "he said, "I need to be at the other new branch for supervision since it's new and someone has to be there everywhere while I'm away, that person should be you since you know all that needs to be done, Amelia ".

"Me," she said a little surprised

"Yes, you " he insisted ." Someone needs to school them and you are a tough one ".

"But doesn't the branch have a secretary and a manager? it's like I'm taking their job away from them ".

"No, it's not you are there to represent me," he said convincingly.

"Yes, but the best manager can slack when there is no supervision, if I hadn't been going there a little frequently we might not be getting any results. They would accept little help coming from the headquarter branch "

"Right," she said still looking hesitant

"I thought we could drive off there this Friday, stay overnight then drive back on Saturday. it eases your worries to think of it as a road trip instead of a work trip. Book us a two-bedroom apartment at a 5star resort. somewhere near the ocean with a balcony that has a sea view. make sure they have a decent restaurant. we might stay another night and come back on Sunday. you deserve a break after what you have been through " he said with a wink.

Amelia didn't know what to say she had traveled with him on some business trip but she felt it sounded a little weird to her and more planned if she had anything to add to her claim. but she needed a break, so yeah some road trip will do the trip.

Not like she was against the trip, she had always traveled taken a taxi to the airport by herself . she had also stayed in a separate hotel room from her boss. The thought of staying with her way too-sexy boss in an apartment for possibly two nights made her feel a different kind of emotions and panic came close to describing the exact way she felt. she had always been confident that her boss couldn't or will never make her move on her but things were different now.
