Adelaide's pov

Adelaide, Adelaide, the head chef of the pack shouts my name as soon as she enters the pack house.

I decide not to answer since even if I reply, I will still receive beatings from her .

I run quickly to the kitchen to finish my chores before she arrives.   

Foolish girl  , why didn't you respond when I called you, she asked agressively. I

sorry ma'am, I didn't hear you calling me. Have you finished with your chores for the morning, she asked me.

Yes please I'm done with everything i tell her humbly. Go and set the table for breakfast, the pack members will come down very soon.

I leave for the dinning to start my assignment before I get another scolding from madam chef.

I arrange everything fastly to avoid meeting the other pack members because the only thing they will do when they see me is to bully me.

That has being their major duty since childhood. Being an orphan and the only pack Omega is not easy at all.

Everyone takes turns in bullying me. The guys hate me for being too pretty and weak. They hate that I reject their advances and the girls hate me for being prettier than them. 

But I don't care because I'm now accustomed to their scorn, hatred and bullying. The only thing I'm looking forward to is to meet my mate.

The only person who will love and appreciate me for who i am.

I know and personally believe that my mate will love me immensely and also will give me the perfect family I have being craving for since childhood.

And I know the moon goddess Selene will never disappoint me. She will surely give me the loving mate I deserve.

I break from my thought after the alpha's son Kane kicks my calf to wake me up from daydreaming.

What the fuck are you doing here, weak girl, he ask sacastically. I'm sorry, I'm done here. I was asked to set the table. 

Leave here before we lose our appetite, a blonde bimbo  whose the pack slut says. I scurry off the dinning room to avoid a round of beatings from them .

As I make my way to the kitchen, I start to imagine how my life would have being if my parents were still alive. 

Would I have been loved and cherished as others ,or will they have also hated and bully me as the rest are doing.

But one thing I have trained my self to believe is that , my parent would have loved me because they died to save my life .

And I will forever love and be grateful to them for this chance of life. I quicken my steps to the kitchen before the head chef squeezes the life out of me.

I don't want to die know because I'm yet to meet my mate and also I don't want my innocent mate to suffer from losing his partner even before they met.
