Chapter twenty seven

Abel's POV

I felt like my body and mind were working separately and had minds of their own. I wanted to stay and talk to her but my legs thought for me and fled the place.

It took me all my sanity to keep running and in no time I was out of sight.

I felt like a coward doing that and I hate the feelings but I wasn't ready to talk to her.

Today felt longer than usual and the party was still going on to the best of my knowledge.

I choose to stay out of the crowd and partying even though my absence means less working pair of hands, I don't want to risk her seeing me. Finding me in a room full of a thousand people won't be an issue because I'm her mate.
