The female Alpha

Silvana's POV 

"SILVANA! SILVANA! SILVANA!" The thunderous chant of the crowd had me over the moon, I have done this several times before and I have never gotten over the joy of people cheering me on.

I'm Silvana Amber Lake, the only daughter of Alpha Landon lake.

My few seconds of distraction earned a good blow to my nose and the tell tale crack that follows notified me of a broken nose. 

I shook my head as if trying to shake the pain off, me and my opponent stalked each other like prey.

This fight has been going on for almost an hour now and none of us is ready to surrender because of the alpha blood that runs through our veins.

I have been engaging in these fights since my eighteenth birthday wish was a year ago. The fight is just to train us better but some takes it to be more than that.

The devilish grin on my opponent's face is good evidence that he had something in mind rather than mere fight.

Me being the only female Alpha alive doesn't rub well on others, they feel I'm too weak to be an Alpha and I'm using every opportunity I have to prove to them that I'm not weak.

"SILVANA! SILVANA!"

I smile to myself when the voice of my bestfriends drift to my ears above the voice of others, they are one of reasons I haven't abandoned my Alpha title and run with my tail between my legs.

I watch carefully the signs I need to know that my opponent is tired, with one swift motion I end the scuffle with my opponent passed out on floor at my feet even though he is an Alpha male.

It takes more than just being a man to defeat a determined woman. 

Damien and Katherine approached me with smiles on their faces to help me walk to my room.
