Raven POV

I didn’t sleep that night. My mind kept running in circles until dawn finally broke. When I did close my eyes, it was only for a short while. The peace didn’t last.

A loud bang on my door jolted me awake. Not a knock. A bang. My heart jumped. I slid out of bed, my body heavy, and opened the door, only to get slapped so hard my head snapped to the left.

Pain burned across my cheek.

I turned back and locked eyes with the last person I wanted to see, my stepmother and Lily. Her eyes were wild, her chest rising and falling fast.

“You bitch!” she screamed. “How could you? How could you do that?”

My cheek throbbed. “Do what?” I asked, still half in shock.

“You dare question me?” She grabbed my arm like a claw and yanked me into the hall.

I stumbled, confused, until I saw the pack guards waiting. My stomach twisted. And then I saw him. Ares. My heart fell into my feet. Behind them stood a man I’d never seen before, dressed too neatly, he looked like some kind of professor.

“There she is!” Lily shouted, pointing at me with a fake cry in her voice. “Seal her fate already. She’s a murderer!”

“Murderer?” My head spun. What the hell was going on?

Ares stepped forward, his shoulders broad, his eyes blazing with disgust. My chest tightened when his gaze locked on me. My mouth went dry.

He stopped inches away, his voice cutting through me like a blade. “How dare you kill my lover, you weak, pathetic omega.”

My lips trembled. “I didn’t kill anyone,” I said quickly, desperate for him to believe me.

He raised his hand as if to hit me. I flinched, but at the last second he lowered it, his jaw tight. “I won’t stain my hands with your filth,” he spat. His words stabbed deeper than a slap ever could. “Pack your bags. You’re leaving this pack.”

I froze. My world spun. “What? Leaving? But I did nothing—”

“Start packing!” My step mother screeched, yanking my hair so hard I cried out.

I couldn’t fight back. Not with guards watching. Not with Ares standing there like I was dirt. I sighed, walked into my small room, and pulled out the bag I had hidden under my bed. My hands shook as I packed the little I owned. Clothes. A small book. Nothing else.

I was rejected. Cast out. Again.

What worse could they do to me now?

I walked out with my bag in hand. My heart was numb, but anger burned low in my gut.

The strange professor stepped forward. He had sharp eyes and a cruel little smile. “I am a professor from Rivaldrelle Academy,” he announced. “I’m a fae. And you’ve been assigned to the academy.”

I froze mid step. My bag almost slipped from my hands. “What? Rivaldrelle Academy?” My voice cracked. “No. No, I can’t go there.”

Everyone knew about Rivaldrelle. It wasn’t a school, it was a battlefield. Brutal. Dangerous. Worse than any pack rejection. Wolves, fae, vampires, they all went there. Few came back alive.

“No, please. I didn’t do anything!” I begged, panic rising in my chest.

Lily only smirked. “Take her,” she ordered.

I jerked free from the guards’ grip and spun on her, rage boiling up. “You’ll regret this. All of you will regret framing me, especially you, wannabe Barbie.”

Her face went pale, then red with anger. Good.

The guards shoved me forward until we reached an old, beat up car. I was thrown inside, and the professor climbed in next to me. The car rattled down the road, the ride dragging on like forever. My chest tightened with every passing mile.

When the car finally stopped, I lifted my head and my breath caught.

The academy stood in front of me,

massive black towers that pierced the sky. Spiked gates. Nails perched on the edges, watching like predators. Rivaldrelle Academy.

My heart pounded. My palms were damp.

The professor leaned close, his voice a low whisper. “If you want to live here, if you want to avoid danger… you’ll need me.”

I shot him a sharp look. “What do you mean?”

He smirked and slid closer, his hand trailing across my thigh. His fingers slipped higher, brushing the edge of my skirt. I shivered in disgust, but he didn’t stop.

“It means…” he whispered in my ear, his voice dripping with filth, “all you have to do is give yourself to me from time to time. I’ll protect you. You won’t face any harm.”

My stomach turned. My skin crawled.

I glared at him. “No thanks.”

I grabbed my bag and swung it hard into his face. It smacked him with a satisfying thud.

His head whipped to the side, his smirk gone. I shoved the car door open and jumped out. The air outside was sharp and cold.

I took a deep breath. If I was going to die here, then so be it.

But I would die fighting.

I stepped toward the academy gates, my knees shaking. That’s when it hit me. A white flash seared through my vision, blinding and hot. My head exploded with pain, my body stiffened, and I dropped to the ground.

Darkness swallowed me whole.

Raven POVThe library was silent, covered in darkness. Everyone in the academy was asleep. Only the sound of their quiet footsteps echoed as Raven and Monica slipped through the heavy wooden doors.“Are you sure about this?” Monica whispered.Raven nodded. “If we’re ever going to find answers, it has to be here.”They moved between the long shelves, the faint moonlight from the tall windows their only guide. Dust floated in the air as Raven ran her fingers across the spines of old, forgotten books. She searched quickly, hoping to find something, anything that could explain the strange energy she’d been feeling lately.Monica was a few shelves away, scanning the titles with her small lantern. The silence was so thick that even the creak of the wooden floorboards made both of them freeze. Then Monica gasped softly. “Raven… I think I found something.”Raven turned immediately and hurried toward her. “What is it?”Monica held up an old, faded book. The gold letters on the cover were almos

Keres POVI couldn’t move. I just stood there, staring at Raven like my whole world had stopped spinning. The power she had unleashed, raw, wild, untamed, sent a chill crawling down my spine. I had seen strong werewolves before, but nothing like this. Nothing even close. The air itself seemed to bend around her. Her eyes burned with something dark and ancient, and the ground cracked beneath her feet. For the first time in a long while, I felt pure awe.Damn, she was powerful. Too powerful. And I liked it.This… this was the kind of power that drew me in like fire. I’d always been drawn to strength, to chaos. I craved it, admired it, worshipped it and right now, all of it burned inside her. Raven wasn’t ordinary. She wasn’t just another wolf in the pack. She was something else. Something that made even the strongest hesitate.I knew Hades had marked her. I knew Azrael wanted her too. She’s like a weapon, a goddess, a storm wrapped in flesh. But unlike them, I didn’t want to own her. I

Raven POVWhen I woke up, my head throbbed painfully. Everything around me felt blurry for a moment until my vision cleared, and I saw Monica sitting beside my bed, her eyes wide with worry.“What happened?” I asked, my voice low and rough.“Oh, thank goodness, Raven,” she breathed out in relief. “You passed out. You scared me half to death.”I groaned softly and pressed a hand to my head. “My head hurts.”“I can imagine,” Monica said gently. “Just rest a little, okay? But, Raven…” She hesitated, looking uncertain. “What was that earlier? What exactly happened to you?”I frowned. “I don’t know, Monica. I really don’t.”She stared at me for a moment, suspicious. “Are you sure you’re just an ordinary hybrid, Raven? Because with what I saw, I’m starting to think there’s something else inside you.”“Don’t be ridiculous, Monica,” I muttered, shaking my head. “I’m a hybrid. Wolf and fae, that’s it.”She hummed but didn’t look convinced. “Hmm. I’ll be keeping an eye on you, just in case.”I

Hades POVRaven bumped into me again, clumsy as expected. I didn’t get mad surprisingly. Everyone knows little thing piss me off so they try to stay away from me as much as possible. Because damn, she looked breathtaking.A loud scream filled the hallway, Ariel’s voice. The sound echoed through the corridor, and I didn’t miss the way Raven froze. Her shoulders tensed, her eyes went wide for half a second.I smirked, stepping closer. “Follow me,” I said quietly, not giving her a chance to protest before walking off.I could hear her small footsteps behind me as I led her into my dorm. The last time she was here, it was dark. Now the room glowed in warm gold, the curtains open and the lights soft. The place screamed power, large, royal, almost too much for the world she came from. She stood there, eyes roaming around the space. “I wonder what it feels like to live like this,” she murmured. “To live lavishly… like a royal.”I turned toward her, my lips twitching in amusement. “You’re lo

Raven's POVThe lecture finally ended, and before the professor could even close his book, I was already out the door. My heart pounded with excitement, not fear this time, excitement. Today was payback day.Ariel thought she could ruin my hair and walk around like she owned the world just because she was high rank. She thought I’d let it go because I was a low rank hybrid. She was wrong.I clutched my bag tighter and hurried down the hall, avoiding the curious stares of other students. If anyone asked, I’d just say I was heading to clean up. But I wasn’t cleaning anything today. I was getting even. When I reached the high-rank bathroom, I checked around. Empty. Perfect. My pulse raced as I stepped inside. The place was spotless, scented with rose and lavender. Everything here screamed wealth and privilege, things I’d never had.Ariel’s shampoo sat on the marble counter, golden and shiny with her name written neatly on it. All the royals used this room on hair wash days, but Ariel’s st

Raven’s POVLater that evening, Prince Keres walked me back to my dorm. Every pair of eyes in the hallway turned on us as we passed. The whispers were sharp as knives, slicing through the silence. I kept my head down, pretending I didn’t hear them, but I could feel the heat of their stares burn into my skin.At my door, Keres stopped. He told me softly that he’d see me tomorrow and then he turned away. His footsteps echoed down the hall until they vanished. When the door closed behind me, the quiet didn’t last long. Monica shot up from her bed like lightning, eyes wide in shock.“What in the bloody hell happened to you?” she yelled, voice full of disbelief.I stood there, my clothes torn, my skin marked. My voice came out low. “Ariel and her friends ganged up on me.”Monica froze, her eyes going wide. Then her gaze moved to my hair. “Oh my God, Raven—your hair!”“I know,” I said quickly, my throat tight. She stepped closer, fury in her voice. “What are you going to do? Ariel will keep
