7. The CEO's beloved

"Thanks, mummy," Margarita replies with a blush. She sneakily peeked at Lucinda, ignoring her bewildered expression. She turned to leave but halted at Juliana's words.

"Hey, baby, where are you heading to? Didn't you promise to eat breakfast before leaving? And you are going without a goodbye hug from me or a good luck kiss from Lucinda? Are you trying to give me some attitude?"

Margarita almost felt a headache from Juliana's series of questions. She turns to Juliana with a twisted expression. Not for once did she want to see the traitor sister she had been living with.

"Oh, mummy, I just realized I'm super late for the meeting; I'll have lunch at the cafeteria in our company. There's no need for breakfast anymore."

Margar spoke softly with a pitiful expression to gain sympathy from Juliana. However, that just made things worse. Juliana felt her daughter was stressing herself more than expected, making her skip meals, which was unhealthy.
