A week has went by since my little shopping trip with Scarlett. Each day I feel a little more comfortable and sure of myself around Dante. We have sadly, been keeping the kissing to a minimum to make it easier on Dante. He continues to be a perfect gentleman and not pressure me into doing anything I am not ready for.
We have decided that it is now finally time to start teaching the female wolves how to fight and defend themselves. As future Luna, I am going to begin my training earlier than the rest of the women. As daunting as learning to fight is, I am excited to be able to defend myself. I have had this niggling fear that I am going to need to know how to defend myself in the future when I consider my past.
I might not be mentally sure that I am ready to learn but I know I am physically. Since I have been getting regular meals, I have put on a little much needed weight and I am in much better shape than before. I even have all of the proper workout cloth

Pizza arrived rather quickly and before I knew it we were both sitting on the couch eating pizza and trying to decide on a movie. I have no idea what some of the movies that have come out in the last 10 years are and I am not really in the mood for a kid's movie so I am afraid that I am not much help for poor Dante. The next morning dawns nice and early. After completing the mating bond last night I feel like an entirely new person. My mind is clear and I feel more determined than ever for training today. That is, until I stretch. Everything hurts! Why would I do this to myself. I am not sure if it is all from exercising so much yesterday or if some of it is from last night as well.I can do this though, I can get up and start training. I will not lay in bed all day. That is exactly what I am doing right now though. I still haven't managed to get myself out of bed. Groaning, I turn over to look for Dante but he is already gone. As soon as I think of him I feel him in my mind. I can hear him chuckle slightly at my realization that I can communicate with him telepathically after the bond is in place."I guess you are awake now. Ready to join me in the gym?" Finding out where my childhood home might be located is invigorating. Even though I know that we need a plan, I am infinitely more determined to go and look for it. Is it as I remember or is it something different? Will there be clues as to what happened to my parents? All of these questions keep spinning in my head and I do not have an answer until we actually find the house. Deciding it best that we focus on my training some more before we try to go find it, we settle down for some lunch. This time we are just having some nice and simple sandwiches and chips for lunch. There is a touch of horseradish on our deli style sandwiches which is simply amazing. We begin to plan when we can go and look for the house as we eat. He makes me promise that when I do find it I do not try to go into the house alone. I agree with it considering we do not know if it is going to be a trap or not. "So, have you tried to contact anybody else through the mind link yet? Dante asks.

Yes, I am just as sore this morning as I thought I might be. We ended up staying in the bedroom for the entire night. The only time Dante got up to leave was when he went to the kitchen to bring us some more sandwiches. When we got tired we turned on a movie in his room. I did not realize that there was a television in his bedroom but he pulled a remote out of his bedside drawer, hit a button and the wall opened up at the other end of the room to reveal one.He thought it might be fun to watch what he said are some classic boxing movies. I had never heard of Rocky before then but I ended up thoroughly enjoying the movies. It also helped to see someone else do some of the moves so effortlessly that I am trying to learn. I feel absolutely invigorated after my sparring match with Kevin. It seems strange to think that I am actually good at something. It seems pretty obvious that he is better than he let me see but it still feels amazing to have done that well. For once, I do not feel like I lack basic knowledge in some aspect. I still want to keep training to get even better but right now I feel like I am going to burst with excitement.I run upstairs and decide to just grab a quick sandwich before heading over to Scarlett's. Making cupcakes with Scarlett while we talk and joke about my training is more fun than I had anticipated. A month ago, I would never have imagined myself here, making cupcakes with a friend, joking about beating a beta in a sparring match that was put together by my Alpha mate. Not even in my wildest dreams would this have been possible. The craziest thing that I could think of at the time was saying hi to somebody. Now, I am in my friend's kitchen, getting treats ready for a pack dinner the following night where I can talk to everybody if I wish."So, when are you guys going to have the Luna ceremony?" Dinner last night was absolutely amazing. I think that little Italian restaurant is quickly going to become my favorite place to eat after Dante's own cooking. This morning some of my soreness is easing a little bit so I guess that means it is time to get back to training. The pack dinner is tonight so I should really try to get done early.Stretching, I look around and see that, like always, Dante is already ahead of me and in the gym. I wake up with the sun so I cannot imagine that I am a late sleeper but he is always somehow one step ahead of me in the mornings. I wipe some of the crumbs out of my eyes and get up to find some workout clothes. This time, I choose a pair of shorts as well as I tank top.Dante is not in the gym when I enter. When Scarlett gets to the pack house with the cupcakes I go outside to help her bring them all in. "Hey Scarlett, I see you got them all here. Where is Quin? Shouldn't he be helping you?"
