Chapter 2

ALESSA POV:

"where are my parents?" I asked to the social worker

"well I'm sorry to say but your parents are in prison now because they got caught red handed this morning supplying drugs" the lady said and I was looking at her blankly. I don't knew how to react to that news.

Should I be happy? That they are finally out of my life and now I won't get beaten and raped anymore or should I be sad? That my parents are in prison now

Wait my parents are in prison now so who's now my and Alexa's guardian now? What will happen to us? Will they send us to foster care? Orphanage? I was so confused and that lady noticed that and she said

"You and alexa will now live with your brothers" she said

Oh okay brothers. Wait brothers?  How? We are the only child of our mother . And my stepdad John didn't have any children

"I'm sorry ma'am but I don't have any brothers." I said

"you have  brothers darling and your mom said that you'll don't know about them" she replied 

All this time the one who I trusted so much lied to us about having only 2 children's . 

"Your brothers will come and pick you up tomorrow so you better pack your stuff tonight" she said and I nodded 

"what about Alexa?" I asked 

"your oldest brother will come pick you up and your second oldest brother will pick alexa up" she said 

"Does she know about it?" I asked 

"yes dear, I've already informed her school and they have told her. She will directly meet you at your brothers place" she said I nodded and went upstairs  

I went inside my room and looked through it. Ive spend all the happy and sad times here and now I was leaving this place. This place had so many good memories of me and my family but it also had so many memories of mine begging John And his friends to not take away my innocence . I shrugged Away all the bad thoughts and started packing my stuffs 

I packed my jeans, hoodies, T-shirt, pajama , 2 pair of shoes because I didn't have much place to pack then 2 of my favorite bags, my favorite teddy bear which I had since I was born and then I packed some more stuffs and packed all the photo frames in my room and my suitcase was ready and then I took my duffel bag and packed my more clothes and some of my favorite stuffs and then finally I took my backpack and put my earphones, charger , some napkins and painkillers and kept with other stuff and changed into my pajamas and went downstairs 

I saw all the officers already went and now I was home alone. I went inside the kitchen and made myself pancakes .i was hungry I didn't ate anything after the sandwich I had during lunch break. And then went to sleep. 

I woke up in the morning slightly late because for the first time I didn't had to make breakfast for my parents and was not in a hurry to leave home before they got up. I went inside the washroom and had a long and relaxing shower and changed into a comfortable pairs of clothes 

I mostly wear clothes which cover my whole body so that no-one can see my bruise and then I did my makeup and did my hair . I made a hafe bun and then left for school.

I was now at my way back home. School was boring as usual. I got bullied with that popular boy again and then my enemy threw thrash in my locker and then I got to know that I got failed in my maths test and lastly when I was leaving for home I bumped into the girl who had paint water in the hand and my clothes got ruined. 

Bad luck was always with me. I was crying my way back home.  thinking about all the bad things happening to me and when I finally reached home. I opened the door of the house and there were two people sitting in the living room of my house. 

One was a police officer and other one was a man in his late 20's. He was really intimidating and scary. He was looking at me like he was trying to read me and scan me. 

I went inside and greeted them "I'm sorry but who are you?" I asked no one in particular 

"hello Ms smith , I'm the incharge of your parents case. And he is the legal guardian of you and your sister" the office said and I looked up to the guy beside him 

He had the same green eyes as me and Alexa and he had dark brown hair as mine and his eyes was darkened. 

"Hello Alesa, I'm Lorenzo your oldest brother and guardian and I'm 27" he said with a poker emotionaless face 

"Uhm hello, I-i am Alesa and I'm 14" I replied and not gonna lie I was scared of him. He didn't do anything bad to me but I felt like running away from him but I can't

"So Mr Romano , I'd like to leave and now you are officially her guardian. Thank-you." the officer said and left 

It was akward between us until he spoke "I'm sure you might be hungry. Go get changed we can have lunch then" he said And I nodded. 

I basically ran into my room and took a breath which I didn't knew I was holding. He scared the shit out of me 

I quickly had a bath as I was all dirty from school. 

I changed my clothes and went downstairs and he was in the living room. Waiting for me  as he saw me he said "let's go" and I followed him without asking any questions 

I saw a black SUV outside the house and he sat in that I Quickly sat inside it without questioning and buckled up the seat belt and he drove 

He stopped outside a famous 5-star hotel and I followed him inside.
