Pretend to lose memory

Suddenly, he hit my head hard on the floor. I could feel the warm liquid running down my forehead to my eyes and cheeks. I slowly fell into the cold darkness.

I woke up vaguely; the pain running down my spine awakened me. The image in front of my eyes is an ash-gray ceiling.

"Are you awake? Let me check for you." A gentle voice resounded.

I looked in the direction of the sound. A blonde girl in her twenties was holding a tray of medical

supplies. She walked towards me.

I instinctively sat up with vigilance. A sharp pain all over my body made me hiss.

"Don't move. You're seriously injured. The wound could tear." The girl panicked when she saw my action. She quickly ran over and looked at my wound.

The wound on my back was really torn due to my sudden movement. I could feel the slimy liquid

on my white T-shirt.

White T-shirt? Why do I wear it? Who changed my clothes? So they found my tattoo?

Every Angel organization hunter must have angel wings tattooed on their body; I am no exception; my tattoo is on the left side of my

waist.

While I was in a daze, the blonde girl came to my side and was about to lift my T-shirt. I instinctively pushed her hand away in surprise.

"Don't be afraid! I want to help you heal. I won't harm you." The blonde girl tried to reassure me. In her eyes, I felt she wasn't lying.

My spirit is relaxed a bit, but I am still vigilant. I pretended to be confused and asked, "Who are

you? Where is this? Why am I here?"

The blonde girl froze for a moment. Then she asked me in a doubtful voice, "don't you remember anything?"

I shook my head and opened my eyes to look at her; I must look very innocent right now, I thought.

"Hmm, maybe you've lost your memory because of a head injury." The blonde girl pondered and

concluded.

I was silent and said nothing. I don't want the werewolves to continue to extract information from me, so the best way is to pretend I have amnesia. This means that the werewolves will see me as useless and want to kill me. I must find a way to get out of here before they do.

"My name is Serena. I'm a doctor here. Do you still remember your name?" Serena said as she treated my back injury.

I endured the pain, saying in a hoarse voice, "I don't remember anything!"

I heard Serena sigh behind me. Maybe she believed that I really didn't remember anything, so she said briefly about my situation here, "you are human. You entered werewolf territory, so you should be arrested. During the interrogation, you injured Sir Charles, so you are

tortured."

Serena shivered a little at the mention of Charles' name. It seemed that she feared that person from the bottom of her soul. Her voice softened, and she advised me, "You'd better not anger Sir Charles. He'll kill you."
