Third person pov

Rebecca hesitated at the entrance to the servant quarters, her heart pounding with a mix of nervousness and guilt. The corridor she was currently waiting led to Leia's room, where she was now living because she gave up her role as a harem girl so she could work off her debt and leave the castle as a free woman.

As Rebecca approached, she could hear the soft sounds of Leia singing, which made her wonder what her friend was doing. Swallowing her apprehension, Rebecca knocked gently on the door.

And as Leia went to open the door, "Hello, I will be -" Leia was about to say when her gaze fell on Rebecca, her expression a mix of anger and hurt. "What do you want?" Leia's tone was sharp, a stark contrast to the warmth they once shared.

"I... I wanted to talk," Rebecca stammered, avoiding Leia's piercing gaze. "I need to know why you chose this life, why you became a maid."

Leia scoffed bitterly. "Why does it matter to you now? After everything you've done?"
