Chapter 6:The Banishment

Sona POV.

The journey to our universe took a period of six seconds . We moved using the power that Lord Shanghan gives to whoever is the next rightful heir to the crown. This shown me that the gods were not yet annoyed with me after spending about six months with humans who were our greatest enemies and threat according to what our elders and according to what I grew up knowing.

As soon we got to the castle , I moved quickly through heading to the place where my dad is lied to be treated. When I get there, he is in his full snake form . In our kingdom every one stays him the snake form when he or she is in such a condition of too much illness.

“Father, do you hear me. I am right here. Don't leave me.” I cry as I kneel next to him in his serpent form. The King is so sick now.

“ Perform the ritual and save his soul.” I hear the voice of Lord Shanghan say. I have to make a cut on my left arm and do the same on his tail. Then mix the blood. After that my father has to wake up and give me his last wish before he disappears like all his ancestors.

Suddenly there is a brighten light that appears suddenly that blinds my sight for a moment. I just can't see anything and then it stops.

“ Father , you are awake!” I say as tears flow down my eyes. I can't believe this. I thought I was not going to see him again.

 I move so that I can pay my respect to him since he is the king of all serpent.

“Don't do it , you are unholy ” dad the serpent king thunders to me in a voice that I don't recognize at all 

“ What are you saying dad?” I ask confused by the whole process and sudden coldness from him.

“ I have not done anything wrong” I try to justify my self but the anger from the king is unbearable.

“ You are such a liar ” he thunders more annoyed now . Before I know it the king serpent gets to where I am engulfing around me.

“ You are going to pay for the torture and misery that you have caused to this  and the whole of the snake kingdom. By now I am perplexed since I don't know what he means.

”I don't get a thing about what you saying ” I say trying to get out of his hold. Since I am in my human form,it is so hard for me to get out of his hold.

“ Don't dare say a thing, if you were not a hypocrite than there is no way that you would fall in love with a human. You know very well that they are our number one enemy. ” he thunders more lounder almost throwing venom at me.

“ Dad, I am sure you have misunderstood this whole thing ” I go on to plead as I try to grasp for air. I feel like I am beginning to lose conscious. 

“ I wonder why you are still arguing up to this point ” he says his fangs pointing at my fore head.

“ I am going to make you rejected by any one in the serpent kingdom. I am going to take away all your powers .

“ Don't do that, you know that I am the next queen. There is no way that I will be able to rule and at the same time revenge fro the killing of my mom if you take away all my powers ” I plead one more time hoping that he can feel some pity for me.

“We have got enough evidence that you are now on the side of human. That can only mean that you want to rebel against me and all the gods ” he thunders as he pins his fangs on my fore head making me fall down to the ground. 

As soon as I fall on the ground, I shift back to my real nature. That is being a snake but I am tired that I can't make a single movement.

I hiss as my dad looks at me. He seems strange all of a sudden. Some thing is different from the dad that I know, the king. His colour suddenly changes turning into red. No no, this is not my father.

The better part is that the right to rule has not yet been taken away from me . I use the magic once again that my mother left me and I disappear into the inside chamber towards the mirror of fore see. I need to be see what has happened. It seems some thing is wrong. 

Some thing has happened to my father. That earlier was not my father and he was not one of our kingdom. We don't have red snakes. Then who is this that has made himself look just like dad.

“Lord Shaghan, show me the way ” I pray once again turned into my human form. Then the screen displays it all. My dad, the king was killed my some of his most trusted men.

They went ahead to bring in more serpents from different kingdoms with the intention of taking over our kingdom. Seeing all these, I have nothing to do but to retrieve my kingdom from theses scumbags.

“ I am not going to let all these unknown snakes take over what my ancestors have put in place ” I say as I get the live spear. I have to get raid of this imposter. Just when I am about to get out, I am caught and engulfed once again.

“ People of my kingdom I think you all see what happened ” I hear a faint voice making me look up. We are in the villa where we always gather in case judgement is going to be passed on some one.

I am tied and have no way of getting out of the hold.

“ what am I doing Here?” I ask worried since I look up seeing that red snake has once again disguised himself as our father.

“ Do you see what the supposed queen has done. The only thing that we have left is to banish her. This means that all her powers are to be taken away and taken back into creation ” I listen as the red serpent passes judgment to me. 

I can't Believe this. If I am to be taken back to creation that means that I am not going to be a serpent again for generations or even never again.

The cobra snake that does the banishment comes to me biting me twelve dots and that is the last that I understand since my facial expression fades.
