Chapter 5:A very hard decision.

**still in a flashback **

Sona pov.

I had stayed with a human all this time and had deeply fallen in love with him. Patel and the other humans that I came into contact with were nothing like what I had been told. Every one in the serpent kingdom believed that humans were not to be trusted. However my perceptions for them was changing at this time. If it was not that my mom died in the hands of a human, I couldn't have believed what they talked about humans in our kingdome. Every one more so my dad, the serpent king warned me over humans. .

That is not what I thought anymore at all. I had waited for six months and they were over . In our kingdome, if you turned from a snake to a human and after six months you were still a human , it meant that you could not have the chance to become a human again even if you wanted to . I felt so depressed since I was not going to be back to my kingdom. And six months meant the dragons might have attacked our kingdome already and whipped the snake kingdom from the whole universe. This might also be the reason as to why up to this point, I had not gotten any help from home. 

The next day after the six months, it was time I was finally going to meet Patel's parents. It was supposed to be sometime back but something happened that stopped it , I just don't want to talk about it . it is good that the day had finally come when I was to meet the parents of the human that I loved. I knew it was wrong since Patel didn't know the true nature of me. I promised that I will not tell him anything since I believed I was not going to change to my true self again.

"Are you already my queen?" I heard him ask through the door. I was already used by him calling me queen since this is helping me to at least remember that I was supposed to be the next queen of snakes though that was not going to happen anymore since one thing I know is that the snake kingdom might by now having whipped out of the universe by the dragons. 

"I will be through in about ten " I answered with a smile though he could not see it. I was falling for him more and more each day and believed he loves me as much as I do him.

I made the last last look in the mirror before getting my purse to get out and head out for dinner with Patel's parents. Just as I was about to to get out, I spotted a certain familiar light in the corner of the bedroom. I was immediately drawn back looking at it ...I knew what this meant. Before I thought any more..he appeared.

One of the green serpents. I have waited for them the last six months .why now 

" am at your service my queen " he said bowing the head as a sign for me. 

" what are you doing here ?" Is all that I asked. For heaven's sake I doubted if he knew how much I have been waiting for then to at least show me a sign but none came.

"Am here to take you back home " the green serpent said showing me respect as the next king. 

" are you serious why now..after all this time " I say not even sure of what I am going to do now. I would love to go back to my kingdom but at the same I am so in love with Patel.

"We have been looking for you for a very longtime. We even went ahead to consult the dragon kingdom"

" we even went ahead to get heko from the dragons " he goes on  to say.

"Until lord shanghan shown us the way, and that was last night . your father gave me his powers to come and look for you. You therefore have to go with me so that he sees you before he dies ." 

" what do you mean Green serpent ?".

" You have to go with me " he says. 

I had no idea how i was going to solve this right now. I am supposed to met the parents of my lover in about two hours but at the same time I have to me my dying father.

" I know what you are thinking about , I will help you " he says. 

" stay here and I will handle your lover " the green serpent said and he immediately became me . He changed and become just like me.This meant that one one can even see any differences.

This is something someone from our kingdom can do .He then headed into the living room . He had ways of manipulating humans.

Later I convinced Patel that I had found my family and had to go and meet my ill Father.

" I will return in about two weeks " I told Patel as I give him a final kiss . 

I made up my mind that I was going to go and talk to my Dad so the he can approve of my love with Patel. Hope he approves it.
