Chapter 2: The uncanny occurrences

Cold sweat started falling on my brow, face, and nape as I felt a pair of eyes boring behind me. I knew instinctively that he was staring at me and it was making me act fidgety. I moved uncomfortably on my chair as I tried to focus on the lesson, but failed miserably. Why did he have to sit behind me? It's not like he didn't have any choice. There were a few vacant chairs, for God's sake! I screamed in my head and unconsciously, I slammed my fist on my armchair. I was relieved it wasn't very loud, so nobody noticed my strange behavior, yet enough to send my pen flying to the floor. Could you guess where did it fall? It fell beside his right foot! I immediately sat upright and waited for him to pick up my pen and return it to me since it was the polite way to do it, but seconds passed and still, I didn't hear him move a single bit.
