Chapter two

                     (Ariana POV)

It was later in the evening the next day when there came a knock on our door, but before I got to the door to see who it was, my dad was already at the door. When the front door open to a guy who seemed to be the same age as my dad. He had brown hair like my dad, but his eyes were a dark brown and he has a leaner build compare to him. I could even tell his scent was different than my dad but not sure why. He wore a blue grey suit that made him look very professional.

"Gamma Jeremy, it's been too long. How are things going for you my old friend? How is the family doing?"

"We're doing well, and what about you Beta Ken? How is everything going since the last time we talk? I know your brother is happy that you decide to finally come back home to be by his side in these hard times."

Wait did that guy just called my dad? Did he just call him Beta? Why?

"Dad, did he just call you Beta?"

They both turn their heads toward my way with a shock look as if they didn't realize I was even there.

"I'm sorry but I didn't realize she was there nor did I not know you didn't tell your children about you replacing the Beta spot in your brother pack."

"Never mind Ariana, I'll explain everything while were in the van on the way to the pack. I should have talk to the both of you before but never seemed to be the right time to do so."

"Hey dad. What's taking you so long? The moving van is ready to start loading up. What the hell? Is that really your hair color? Is your hair really silver?"

When I looked behind, I see a male about my age just gawking at me like I'm alien or unicorn. He was 6 ft like my brother but maybe an inch taller or so. They both had dark brown hair, but he had brown eyes. He walks over to me like I'm magical creature.

"Do you mind if I touch your hair?"

"What?"

"Nathan, don't be so rude!"

"Sorry dad, I just can't believe"

"Nathan, your still acting rude to Ariana!"

Just than they both just stood there looking at each other. They way they look at one another as if they were still talking but their lips were not moving. Are they mind linking like my dad say that they do when they belong in a pack. Will we be able to do that as well when we finally belong into the pack?

"Nathaniel, why don't you help Ariana with bringing her stuff into the van?"

"Sure dad. Ariana, can you show me the way?"

"Yeah, this way to my bedroom."

As we walked over to my room, I can still feel him staring at my hair and I'm not sure why but I'm going to ask him as soon as I can. When we finally get to my room, I decide to talk to him about the hair now than wait for later.

"Can I ask you something Nathaniel and please I'd like the truth?"

"You can call me Nat and yes ask away anything you like."

"What's it about my hair that you find so fascinating?"

Nat sat on my bed just looking at me as if he were searching in his mind for the right words to say to me.

"Well sadly I know you haven't been around any other werewolf's but were you ever told about how we became werewolf's and about the moon goddess?"

"I have heard of the moon goddess, but no I haven't heard of the story about how we came about."

"Well, the story about how we came about is still a mystery and there are many different stories that I'm not sure which one is true. The story I do know of that is true is about the moon goddesses children."

"What are you talking about the moon goddess having children?"

"Well, it's says that the moon goddess aka Selena would come to earth to be around the werewolf's. She would even take the shape of a silver wolf to be able to blend in on the earth. As one day she was enjoying running through the forest toward the river on a warm summer day. She ran into a large black wolf laying next to the river not even noticing her being there. Selena decide to watch him, but she was also able to search his heart to see why he was sad. That's when she notice that for some reason this male wolf had no mate and that made no sense since each wolf was born with a mate. At first, she thought maybe his mate might had already died but then he would have had a second chance mate, but he had none. Selena decide to watch him for some time and as a month went by as she kept her eyes on this male Alpha, she learned his name was Dustin Black and was the alpha of the River stone pack. After a month she decide to show herself to the young alpha wolf in her human form and thats when he turned to her calling her his mate. She was stunned that he said that to her, but she couldn't deny it either because she felt the sparks between them. Selena told Dustin who she truly is and he didn't care cause he loved her so much. She than realize that she was his true mate and they were mated within the week. After eight years they ended up having three pups, two boys and the youngest was a girl who had silver hair with a silver wolf. When their oldest son was ready to take over the pack, Selena decide it was best to return to where she belongs, and Dustin decide he was going with her. She was afraid of leaving her daughter there because she was the only one that showed having the same power as her mom, but Ivy didn't want to leave her mate. So, Selena decide to turn the daughter of their Beta into the white wolf to protect her daughter. She made her stronger than the other wolfs and with some other perks that were never written anywhere. Just as the genes of Selena passes through the daughter of their daughters, so does the generation of the white wolf.

"Wow, so the moon goddess had a family and you believe that I'm a descendant of that family?"

"Well yeah, the moon goddess did have silver hair and her wolf was silver. What about your wolf? What color is she?"

"My wolf is silver like my mom's wolf."

"Hey you two! Are you almost ready to go? We need to start back to the pack to get there before morning."

"Yeah dad, Ariana and I are coming down right now to load her stuff into the van. Come on before my dad loses it on us both."

Nat and I brought down all my stuff to put it into the van. I get into the van and went straight to my phone to find out that it will take about six hours to travel from Virginia to New York. It'll give me time to pick at Nat's brain about how it'll be living in a pack, but when I looked over to him I can see that he was already yawning and my brother was already a sleep or so it looks like it anyway.

"Hey Nat, I was hoping to talk you more about living in a pack."

Nat just looked at me with his eyes half open.

"Don't worry, we will talk about this more when we get to the pack and at the pack you and your brother will get a tutor to catch you both up on what you will need to know. For now, you need to get some rest cause tomorrow will be a long day. Oh, by the way you and Casmir will be starting school in about three weeks."

"Wait, what are you talking about us going to a private school?"

"Your uncle has set up for the both of you to start in a private school with your cousins and me. There will other werewolves there and witches. Not only there would be other packs children of Alphas, Betas and there Gammas. Also, the royal family will be attending the school as well."

"Wow, that seems to be a lot to take in a one time."

"Don't worry, I'll be there with you the whole time when you need someone."

He than put his arm around my shoulder to give me a half what hug and then I hear a growl from behind us to see it was Casmir when I turned around.

"Casmir, what's wrong?"

"I want Nathaniel to get his hands off you before I rip it off him."

"Calm down Casmir, let's not make a big deal over nothing."

"Ariana don't worry it's normal for a male wolf to be overprotective over their mates and their sisters. Just pray your mates not of Alpha blood."

"Why is that?"

"Because Alphas can be a little more overprotective and with their mates, they can be downright unbearable to live with."

"So, wolfs like my uncle?"

"Yes, but also your father and your brother. They may not have the Alpha tiled but they both have the Alpha blood in them. Well, lets get a few hours of sleep and we will talk some more before getting to the pack."
