Chapter five

The castle of Maridul

(Third person's pov)

         "Your highnesses sedrid and his men failed to kill the tribreed prince" a messenger reported to the rulers "and where is sedrid and his men now" Simon the alpha of the werewolves asked with anger in his voice "y..your highness, sedrid died with almost all his men in the battle" the messenger answered with fear "he is lucky to have died in the battle, if he had returned I would have torn him apart myself " Simon said then growled. The other rulers sat in silence and listened, it was obvious that the news frightened them "what should we do now?" Maria the leader of the witches asked, the hall fell quite for a while before Simon broke the silence "I'll suggest that we send witches after him" he said "and why should we send witches after him" Maria asked "the prince can take on werewolves because of his dragon strength and fire but he isn't used to magic, he hasn't activated his kreo side so he can't mimic magic to use against witches" Simon said, all this time Alphonse the leader of the wizards said nothing but after hearing what Simon said he decided to speak "I think Simon has a point" "why should it be witches and not wizards" Maria asked "the wizards will strike when it's their turn" Alphonse said then he started rubbing his hands together and grinned evilly.

      

        The island of the sirens

  (Asher's pov)

        I headed back to the village to rest and prepare for our departure tomorrow, I went into one of the new tents that have been set up by the warriors, I fell asleep immediately my head touched my pillow.

(Ashers dream)

"Please don't die on me Evie please I can't lose you!!! not like this!!!, Evie I haven't told you this before but I love you and I want you to marry me. I want to have kids and grow old with you Evie so please don't die at least not now" I was holding Evie in my hand while she was struggling to breath. The kingdom was at war I and my men against the werewolves, wizards and witches, everything thing was going fine and we were about to win when suddenly a witch sent a death spell towards Evie, she didn't see it coming so it hit her and now she is fighting for are life "I love you too Asher" that's was the last words she said before she stopped breathing "Nooo!!!" I screamed and woke up.

      (Reality)

       I woke up with a scream, I was covered in sweat and my cheeks were wet with tears, I was trying to remember what had happened in my dream and when I did I wished that I hadn't. In my dream Evie died in battle against the rulers, I started having second thought if I should allow Evie come with me. I stepped out of bed to get some fresh air and clear my head, I walked towards the river and lay on the sand when I got there I looked towards the stars trying to read them, at first I couldn't understand what  the patterns meant, I took a deep breath then relaxed, I looked towards the stars again and that was when I understood. The stars formed a four cardinal direction pattern, each pointing to different directions, the first pointing toward the south, the second towards the west, the third toward to east and the fourth towards the north. The lines were shining brightly but the one that faced the north shone brighter than the rest like it was telling me to head north.

           At dawn I came out my of my tent to prepare for my departure, I went to look for Evie and I saw her with some warriors so I walked up to her "good morning Evie" I greeted " yeah good morning" she replied "if we are to head north, where will that lead us?" I asked her "if we head north from here we'll be heading toward the village of vampires" she replied with a questioning look "I have a feeling that we should go there, are the vampires in support of the rulers" I asked "no there aren't, but walking into the village of vampire's will be suicidal, the vampires are wild and if we are not careful we will be dead before we get their alliance" she said looking worried "I think I'll take my chances" I replied and left to gather some supplies.

Author's note: I am sorry guys but this might be the only chapter I'll be uploading today, I'll try my best to see if I can upload another but if I can't then I'll upload it tomorrow.
