Chapter Hundred and Eleven

The city Park. The guard pulled up the car at the entrance of the park for Naevia. The pregnant lady steps out of the car and slowly made her way into the park.

The guard had wanted to follow her, but Naevia told him to just pack the car and wait for her. She wanted to be alone. So he honored her wish.

Naevia stepped into the park and made her way to the park bench, which was opposite a duck pond.

She sat down carefully, staring at the ducks swimming in the pond.

There were a few couples tossing bread crumbs into the water for the ducks and their ducklings. Naevia just watched them.

She took her eyes to the couples, as they played lovingly with each other. Naevia felt her heart ache. She tried to get herself on track.

Her reason for coming to the pack is to clear her mind from things that are making her sad and hurt.

But it seems like the park was filled with things that'll make her unhappy. Naevia didn't like this. She felt like leaving the park, but she didn't.
