The forthcoming feast

Shawn emerged into the room. Quickly, he wavered his head away from the heavenly naked sight of the queen.

"Take this reeking slave out of my room, and tell Lady Macbeth to take Henrietta back to the viper’s room," Queen Isle grumbled, her glaring green eyes on him.

"Yes, my queen!" Shawn nods, his head still lowered to the floors of the golden room.

Carefully, he snapped his head at the blacked-out man on the queen's bed.

Meanwhile, Queen Isle dragged herself to the bathroom door. Suddenly, she halted the very moment her hand clenched the knob and she tilted her head toward Shawn.

"Do you have anything to say?" She asked purposely.

"Yes, my queen!" Shawn replied.

"Spill it, I'm all ears!”

"Beta Kappa has arrival with the rest of the slaves, he's at the throne hall as we speak!”

"Hm, I see... I was thinking of leaving for the divine temple. But then, I think I would love to see Beta Kappa as well. Do you have anything else to say?" She asked further.

"Yes, my Queen! Princess Danika and Prince William sent a missive letter about their forthcoming by tomorrow!” Shawn divulged.

His statements provoked the Queen Isle to whine grudgingly.

Both royal souls are her younger siblings, she's not in any close relationship with Danika. However, William is always at the peak of pleasing her heartily every time and that's why she cherished him, a lot.

"Okay!” She gave a nonchalant shrug. And then, she disappeared into the bathroom.

Immediately, Shawn gets on with the queen’s orders after he ordered the guards outside who assisted him to transport Jeffery out of the room.

After a few minutes, Queen Isle was done with her bath and she was being dressed up by her servants.

She's fully prepared to confront the Beta Kappa, she appears womanly in her purple gown. And her cold presence shrieks out sovereignty and dominance.

Forthwith, she moved to her golden chair and gently crouched her butt on it. She picked up her feather pen and began inscribing vigorously on a few notes while her servants tidied up her room.

After a few eternities, she stood to her feet and her servants halted on their labors, bowing at her. Queen Isle was ignorant as she saunters out of the room in her regality.

Outside her room, Lady Macbeth was loitering for her alongside Shawn. Both duos bowed at the queen's rapid sight.

"Lady Macbeth!” Queen Isle called as they marched hastily along the long hallway.

Occasional maids and guards stooped respectively in respect and panic at the harsh figure, the prominent Queen herself.

"Yes, my queen!" Lady Macbeth replied.

"You know very well how the slave's rules follow, right?"

"Yes, my queen!”

"Good, but this time it would deviate, for my Alpha slave, his wife, and his people," Queen Isle solely informed.

Lady Macbeth and Shawn shared a confused look and stared back at the Queen curiously for an explicit explanation.

Queen Isle remained tight-lipped as they strolled, a lot was utilized in her mind as they got to the entrance of the throne hall.

"You may leave now, I would like to have a word with Beta Kappa, alone!” She stridently said, her lips tugged aside.

Then, she walked inside the throne hall after the door was been opened for her by the guards.

When the queen was out of sight, Shawn veered around to confront Lady Macbeth who appears to be misplaced in her world.

"You have to do something, Lady Macbeth. I fear for Alpha Jeffery and his wife!” Shawn grouse worriedly at her.

"That's the least of my concerns, Shawn," she muttered, her countenance wriggling in deep impression.

"What?! How could you say such?!" He growls astonishingly at her choice of words.

"The mark!” she muttered to him.

"The mark?" He arced his brows confused at her, not able to discern what she had just said.

"Yes, the mark. He’s got the mark of the dragon skull!” she half-yelled further. And that bucks up Shawn's ear at the word "Dragon skull"

"Who's got the mark?" Shawn asked, tremendous curiosity sweeping his voice as he lean his head toward her face.

"Him!”

Him?"

"He's an Alpha werewolf, I don't know how possible but... Jeffrey. He's got the mark on his chest. I saw it!” Lady Macbeth revealed.

Her wrinkling expression held up suspicions as she fiddled her fingers, her body panicking.

"Jeffrey has the ma...What! Lady Macbeth!” Shawn shrieked in shock and raw tremors.

Queen Isle stood at the door of the throne hall, her green eyes came across to Beta Kappa's —Jeffery’s Beta.

A man in his fifties, he’s got white scrawny beards, richly dressed in a red garment, his left hand clenched a brown paper.

"My queen!" He bowed, and a grin sheathed his lips.

Queen Isle chuckled at him, elegantly she walked to her golden throne and sat down gracefully.

"Beta Kappa, I'm glad to have you in my kingdom," she said sincerely, Beta Kappa chuckled.

"Thank you, my queen!"

"I must say I'm extremely pleased, I wouldn't have gained a victory without your help," she confessed genuinely.

Beta Kappa bobs his head briefly. "You don't have to thank me, my Queen. I'm only doing it for my good friend Late King Dawson, and for Lilith,” he grinned.

Queen Isle signed sadly in recollection of her dead husband and then, she smiled as she remembered Lilith, her sole aunt and a mate to Beta Kappa.

"How's my aunt?" She asked, concernedly.

"Oh, my queen. She's fine, don't worry much about her. She also did send her regards to you," Beta Kappa informed and Queen Isle nods in acknowledgment.

“Er... My queen. Don't you think this triumph of ours rings for a royal feast?" He asked forthwith.

Queen Isle jerked her face instantly at his words. "You are right, Beta Kappa. I will throw a feast tomorrow, other kingdoms are freely invited," she giggled, devilishly.

A wild thought jogged through her mind, tomorrow is gonna be one hell of a feast, indeed.

Beta Kappa smirked, it comes off to be a ferocious one as his hand puts up to his white beards, caressing them lovingly. "That's favorable, my queen!”

"King Maddox seems to be insensitive about the new development. Aside from that, the other kingdoms are lawly under my rule, except the elves kingdom,” Queen Isle confided.

Beta Kappa scoffed maniacally. "King Maddox is a very good friend to Jeffrey since birth, a few mistook them to be biological brothers. If not for the fact that Maddox is a Vampire, they won't be any difference between the both of them," Betta Kappa informed.

"The kingdom of Valor is only at the mercy of Denmark, I know how much I have been withholding myself from attacking King Maddox and his kingdom. However, King Coleman of the elf's kingdom told me to be tolerant and let him be," Queen Isle expressed, her body steaming angrily.

"Well, my queen. I think you should listen to King Coleman. Seriously, you should consider yourself noteworthy for your labors. We have Six kingdoms which consist of the werewolves, the fairies, the humans, the elves, the vampires, and the dragon kingdoms. And all of them are lawfully under your great feet except for the kingdom of the elves. You have to be lenient yet tough... I wholly congratulate you on this victory, Queen Isle. Even your late spouse couldn't acquire as much as this," Beta Kappa intently raved and praised her.

Queen Isle stood from her throne, her head lifted high and her aura emitting greatness and power. "I am Queen Isle, the demi-God herself. Of course, I did acquire all these because I'm capable and skilled to the heart," she flattered herself, that mesmerizing smile not fleeing her countenance and her green eyes glowing.

"Indeed, my queen!” Beta Kappa nods. "I shall take my leave now, my queen," he added forthwith as he bowed.

"Get on, Beta Kappa. We shall see noon, tomorrow at the feast,” she told, and he nodes briefly before leaving his initial spot.

Reaching the huge door, he abruptly paused, and that caused Queen Isle to be inquisitive about why he suddenly stopped.

"May I ask, my queen. How were you able to make such a powerful elixir to make Jeffery so feeble?" Beta Kappa inquired, and Queen Isle chuckled meekly at his question.

"I'm sorry, Beta Kappa. I can't say, I can't tell,” she simply replied, her eyelashes blinking rapidly.

Beta Kappa glinted a mischievous smile, Queen Isle could tell that the smile didn't tickle his heart, and that's extremely weird of him and eerie.

"It's your privacy, sorry for asking," he apologized with a low bow.

"It's fine, Beta Kappa!” She accepted, and the beta departed.

Then, Queen Isle was left alone with her thoughts in the thrown hall. It was time for her to go to the divine temple.

Many people across the kingdom have been wondering why she goes to the temple every night, slumbers, and awakens there every morning.

A few rumors carry it that she communicates with the heavens, and while some have been saying that she has been submitting herself to the mysterious beast of the temple for the kingdom's safety.

No one knew the unknown secret, no one knew the whiff behind her duties to the divine temple except... Lady Macbeth and Shawn.

Promptly, Queen Isle steps out of the throne hall as she left for the divine temple to perform her usual nighty rites.

Along the hallway and out of the castle, her mind began to wander off to the big feast tomorrow. A lot will happen.

Conceivably, life will be gone. And at the thought of it, who's blood is it going to be?
