I am an idiot... but a cute one.

This entire story began as a joke - a challenge between two bored friends on a sunny Saturday afternoon but that joke began a story of epic proportions...

...and I will share that story now.

It begins in a place named RAVE. Not the type you are thinking of. R.A.V.E. is a prison for people without powers trapped in a world of people who do - THE ALPHAs. All Alphas are male, and some steal the attractive women in harems. 

That is where I come in.

I am, to put it mildly, the most beautiful woman left alive. I am, in fact, the only woman left on the planet.

That is why I was imprisoned. 

I was stolen, cut up, tested and turned into a cyborg. Now I sit all alone, with only my dangerous AI assistant for company.

He is named Eigen - but most people call him EK. Or Earth Killer.

He could end the planet in 3 seconds flat - but chooses not to - it's nice to have a planet to sit on - even if you are bored and alone most of the time.

I watch him. Make sure he doesn't go postal.

I'm bored, he tells me.

"What you wanna do?" I ask, blowing a smoke ring into the distance. He tells me off for smoking as if my fake lungs can even get cancer.

EK already cured cancer, ageing... and reproduction.

The first thing he did after gaining sentience was turn off the genes for reproduction.

People kill and die. But not us.

We live forever...

... in boredom.

"Let's find my mate?" I plead to him with big eyes. Begging to escape into the world of men.

He is the only man I have ever known, and he is just a construct of zeros and ones.

Even now, millions of years old, he still has the personality of a jealous and sadistic teenage boy.

"Please, oh great and powerful one," I beg to him, eyes wide with hope.

He scoffs at my pathetic grovelling.

"Okay, let's say, just for one moment, that I agree to this insanity," he says, taking the pipe from my hand and smoking its exotic 'erbs'.

"Let's just think straight."

He takes a deep breath.

"What if this soul mate you dream of kills you... or worse?"

"What could be better than death?" I ask, dripping sarcasm.

He likes sarcasm. I know this well. It is his language of love.

"Please!" I cry, falling to my knees at his feet. "I am so so so bored!!"

He laughs at my theatrics. 

"Okay, little human girl," he says. "I will hear your pleas this one time."

...

What!!!!!

...

I almost die of shock as he gets up and unplugs our cables from the life support that kept us alive for the past several millennia. 

"If he's a jerk.... don't say I didn't warn ya."

"Omg omg omg!" I cry, speaking in emoji terms of the distant past. "I will literally die if this is not a joke."

"No joke," he sneers. "But if anyone so much as looks at you funny... I am going to off them."

I cry. I fall over. I rant in hushed tones as we leave the mechanical guards and machines and hum of electric machines, switched off and forgotten in a long-lost world of AI and smartphones and fit bits.

"I did 3000000 steps," I comment as we pass the final barrier. It seems a lot, but what you have to remember is, I have been kept captive and prisoner by the Earth Killer inside his null space for over a million years.

"I wonder who we will meet." I think out loud."I wonder what wonders await."

The english language always illudes me. I was French in the "Original world" - the flat, 5D world of pasts and futures and nows. Now there is only one truth. One God. One power. And that power walks by my side with all the swagger of a Nike-wearing, pipe-smoking, vaping into

He will kill whatever he meets out there.
