Chapter 5

Brunch with a difference .

Sienna was in denial about what had just happened with Apollo. He seems like himself on one hand and on the other hand he doesn't seem like he was believing what he was telling her and that in turn the set of alarm bells. She knew that; he would never do something to hurt her deliberately but he did it in front of her father. Sienna I had a feeling that something must have happened between Lisa and Apollo that was serious.

Sienna hard brunch to get through with her best friend. She didn't know if Apollo was going to be there or not, but she needed to get clarity . A couple of minutes after Apollo left it Sienna take a deep breath and continued eating her breakfast . Her father tried to cheer her up it worked for a while but she started feeling sad again .

She had never been intimate with a bolo and yet she felt like she had lost a part of yourself which was the strangest feeling ever because the attraction was there , but neither of them acted on the feelings they had for each other and it'll point where they admit that they have feelings for each other Apollo drops a bomb and tells her that they can no longer be friends , Lisa has made her a hard limit and he's going to be a father.  She was in Denial  and to an extent hurt .

As soon as she made it to the farm  she spotted  Gemma and walked to her .She was putting on a facade, and Sienna could tell by her body language and fake Smiling that something was wrong .  Sienna was wearing a v-neck  iris floral printed maxi dress, and on her way to the farm where the wedding was held , she changed her heels for a pair of  white sneakers and since it was an autumn wedding she had on a blue cardigan . Her father's driver was instructed to drop her off and wait for her , then make sure she arrived home safely. He still didn't trust  Apollo.

When Sienna  made it to Gemma she pulled her aside since  it was a buffet breakfast and walked with her towards the lake . As soon as they were far away from the party and festivities, Gemma gave Sienna a hug .

" Hey are you okay? "

Sienna pulled back and looked at Gemma . She shook her head and took a deep breath . She sat down lotus position and Gemma joined her . She was wearing black skinny jeans and a white T-shirt.

" I should be asking you because this is the first time in a very long time that my brother has called me crying. What the hell happened from the time you left to this morning? "

" I don't know what happened I just woke up went to church and had breakfast with My father full stop and during breakfast he came over and my father invited him against my better judgement I scooted over and he sit next to me. He came with a bottle of rum and  white roses ."

" Did he look sober to you ? "

"I couldn't tell. He was clean and he smelled of baby cologne... He had minty fresh breath.  I'm not going to deny that I wanted to kiss him just to stick it to my father and prove him wrong , but once again he was right about Pollo , and I know he is good ."

Gemma swatted her  tears and looked at Sienna seriously.

" I know that you want to see the getting him and you want to believe that the has to be a reason behind his behaviour but truth be told he has trained and the only time I can feel like he is truly my brother is when he's with you or when he's around you or when he knows that you're going to be around. "

"I forgave him last night before I went to sleep, so what are you telling me right now is that the man I was talking to last night and the man that came and told me that he is ending all sorts of relationships with me that includes our friendship meant everything. "

" Yes Lisa happens to be pregnant with his child. "

Gemma looked at Sienna in disbelief and she could see that there was something that Gemma didn't trust about what she had just said.

" Gem you said like you don't trust that your brother made a baby with  his girlfriend of six months. "

" I think that it's too soon and he's not the type to just make a baby out of nowhere he sits had to take his time because he's always wanted a family and he's always wanted to be a father and that's why  I made him guardian , God forbid if anything should happen to me. He has always been a solid guy I know he has his fault, but you surely can't believe that he wants to end all contact with you ? "

" Easy also ending contact with other parts of his family circle because if he's doing that then Lisa is being abusive . "

" She is ? "

" Yes yes because the first thing and abuse it does or somebody who wants to control something and every aspect of their victims lives is to isolate them. I don't think the baby is Apollo's. "

" Neither do I and I want you around so if you guys are not going to be seeing each other or actually be near each other ,or be friendly with each other for that matter ,can you please tell me what else can I do to make sure that the both of you get along with each other around the kids? "

" Don't worry about that. I can get my assistant to dig up whatever she can on Lisa. How in the hell did your brother meet someone so controlling? "

" He  was  out drinking after he saw you with some guy and they happened. "

Sienna flashed back to six months ago . She was going out with Hugo Black  a soccer star who she is still good friends with .

"I was going out with Hugo but it wasn't anything serious and we didn't do anything actually we just enjoy each other's company why didn't he come to me , or better yet call me? "

" Sienna you know him better than anyone . "

" Not the drunken version of him and that's the part that scares me . "

" You are the bravest person I know and I don't think Apollo being drunk it's going to scare you and fact he's a ball of emotions and he speaks his heart out when he's drunk so it's another side of him that you'll be annoyed of bud appreciate anyway I have known about his drinking problems and I want to go on my honeymoon with my husband and I want to do that knowing that he is fit enough to take care of my babies. "

" What are you telling me Gem? "

" In a case where my brother can't take care of my children , I have put you as back up."

" Don't think like that you're going to grow old and see your great grandchildren. "

" I know but just incase my brother can't manage you get full custody of my kids . Toby was with me when I made that decision and your name won't be mentioned  until that decision is made by my baby brother ."

" I understand . "

Sienna leaned forwards  to give Gemma

a hug and she hugged her back . They both stood up and started making their way back . Sienna felt clammy and hot and she needed to go freshen up .

" Sienna are you okay friend. "

" Yes I am I just need to freshen up is the room you booked for me still vacant ? "

" Yes and it's under your name. "

" I packed a pair of jeans and a t-shirt in my bag . I feel overdressed for the occassion so please give me a  thirty minutes to change and I will meet everyone at the buffet . Including your brother ."

" That sounds like a solid plan see you soon friend . "

Apollo was keeping an eye on Sienna and he was secretly hoping to get her alone and when he saw her enter the hotel he thanked his lucky stars because Sienna was booked in the room next to his . He called her but she hung up and he knew he needed some time alone with her so she took the stairs and used the key he stole yesterday thinking that Sienna was going to go back to the hotel and to her room ; to enter her hotel room to talk to her and tell her the truth .
