Chapter 3

Liam pov:

The sun peeked through the curtains

I was jolted awake by the sound of my sister’s voice calling my name

“Liam,it’s time to get up “she said

We are leaving for school soon and you don’t want to be late”

I rushed to get ready

I decide to put on a pair of dark jeans and a button down shirt with my pair of sneakers 

As I  came downstairs, i saw sophia waiting for me .You took your time, didn't you?" Sophia teased, a mischievous grin on her face. "You know you're not allowed to eat before we leave!"

I rolled my eyes, but i couldn't help but smile. Sophia was always teasing me,but i knew it was all in good fun. "Come on, let's get going," she said, grabbing my bag as my sister tagged along

Bye Mr and mrs Kieran”

Don’t forget what I said to you”my dad screamed after 

I won’t”I shouted as I shut the door behind me

I had a car that was gifted to me by my dad on my 18th birthday and I was in love with it..So we drove that to school,Sophia showing us the map and all

We drove for an hour with Sophia repeatedly yelling for cutting to the wrong corners,we finally got to our destination.

I pulled the car into the parking lot,the humans kept staring  as we walked past them

I love your car”

Is he new “

He’s so hot”someone whispered to the friend 

that’s one ability I love about being a werewolf …the ability to hear things from afar

We walked into an office,Sophia leading the way

“Good morning,I’m principal smith”,you are welcome,please take your seats,Sophia you can get back to class”

Nora and I took our seat while he addressed us and told us which classes we’re in 

“And that’s it,welcome to lakeside academy,if there’s any questions,please be sure to contact me”

As I was leaving 

“Oh and Liam,I’ve already printed out your classes”he called me back 

Thank you mr smith”I said

As I turned to leave,the door was swung open and a girl stormed in.She was wearing a pair of ripped jeans and a leather jacket, and her blonde hair was pulled back in a messy ponytail. She was clearly upset, her cheeks flushed and her eyes flashing.

"You can't tell me what to do!" she shouted at the principal, who was sitting,looking exasperated. 

I was still caught on the sight of this girl,the way her straight blonde hair framed her jawline..her baby blue eyes was really pretty

I walked out and shut the door behind me but I couldn’t help but use my hearing ability once more.

"I'm not a child anymore, and I can make my own decisions!"

"I'm just trying to protect you," the principal said, his voice calm.

“You can’t protect me all the time”,she said.

As she stormed out the office,she bumped into me still standing close to the office,her books fell to the ground

“I’m so sorry”I wasn’t trying to eavesdrop or anything “Are you okay??”i asked handing her the book I picked up

“It’s fine she said”

I love the way she smells 

"I was just umm having a bit of disagreement with my Father".

I hesitated, not sure if i should ask more about the disagreement. But she seemed to sense my curiosity. "My dad is the principal," she explained. "And he's a little overprotective sometimes. He doesn't think I should be going to parties or hanging out with friends, because he says it's not safe. But I'm not a child anymore! I should be able to do what I want!"

I nodded sympathetically. "I can understand that. It must be hard having your dad as the principal. He probably has a lot of rules about what you can and can't do."

“Thank you for your understanding “she said

Sorry if I was being rude,I’m Ava”she said 

“It’s nice to meet you Ava,I’m Liam”I said

“We have a bonfire party tonight and you’re invited “she said

I’ll be there “I said 

“Why did I even agree “I said in my mind 

So she took my contact and all.

“I will text you the location “she said “

See you  later Liam”

Bye Ava”I said

“Good morning students,we have a new student joining us today,his name is Liam Kieran”the teacher said as I walked in

And there she was,Ava

She was actually in my class.

“Introduce yourself “

Hi everyone “,I’m Liam Kieran and hope we get along.

I got some boo from some guys”they’re probably jealous of my face and stature and I don’t care..

“You can go in now”the teacher said

I walked in and sat opposite to Ava

“Hey,we meet again”she said.

Hiiii”I replied.

And three hours after the introduction,the classes were over and I waited for Sophia and Nora.

“Come on you guys,hurry the fuck up,I have a party to prepare for”I said as I saw them walking towards me 

A party?”sophia asked as she sat in the front seat of my car.

What type of party”

It’s a bonfire party”I said and I met this girl I said smiling.

"What girl?a human?you know we are not allowed to be close to humans”Sophia said.

"Or maybe you are just jealous that Liam found a girl and haven’t noticed your feelings for him” Nora said from the back.

"Shut up Nora!!”we both said at the same time

"Fine!”nora said laughing 

"Can we go now?"

Then we drove home
