Jackson POV

Everything changed so fast, my brain couldn’t even process it. One minute I wanted to string Darius’s mate by her head for having a part in the rogue attack against my pack. The next I’m petrified my mate is going to burst into flames. I knew when a witch starts to come into their powers they are out of control, but I didn’t think it was this out of control.

When she started to glow I thought she was going to start shooting off magic like fireworks. I’m all my time I have spent around witches, I have never seen any make blue fire like that. I was more amazed then I was terrified. I have the most magnificent mate there is.

When Rose demand we hide Hazel here and let her train her in magic, I was furious. But I was also in awe of her. She wants to protect the witch that helped Max try to kill her or whatever it is he wants with her. I understand why she feels that way, she knows better than anyone what Maximus is capable of.
