Want To Dance

Trent POV

I could scarcely believe that my best friends sister is my mate. Magnus had kept me up most last night with his talking. After training this morning, he wouldn't shut up and led me to the Alpha’s house.

“What the hell Magnus, we can't just walk into the Alpha’s house”, I said to him.

“Get your ass in that house now!”, he growled at me.

He’s never acted like this before and then I smelled the faintest scent of freshly baked treats.

I couldn't resist the smell, it completely took over all rational thought I once possessed, I opened the front door and followed the scent of freshly baked cookies to Loralei’s room and that’s when my world stood still.

I was instantly confused, Jack is her mate, there had to be a mistake. Magnus kept telling me that she’s our mate and when she looked at me with a surprised and confused look all over her face, I’d never been more scared in my life. What if she rejected me, my wolf howled in pain at the thought.

I’m so grateful that she’s giving us a chance, I’ll do everything I can to prove to her that she is my world, my everything. I was so lost in my thoughts that when I felt someone grab me I automatically went into defense mode.

“What do you want Chelsea?”, I asked.

Chelsea’s a girl that was constantly trying to get me to sleep with her, I wouldn’t touch her with a ten foot pole. She was more of a whore then I was.

“Oh, don’t be like that, how much longer are you going to pretend that you don't want me?”, she asked batting her fake eyelashes.

I looked at her, disgust all over my face, she’s shaped like a twelve year old boy.

“I’m not pretending, now get the hell away from me”, I shoved past her to get to my house.

When I walked in my mother greeted me as usual. My mom’s the best, she knows who I really am. I walked into my room to get ready for my mates birthday, I already missed her so much.

I decided against a shower, I wanted her scent to stay on me. Her lips taste so sweet, like fresh fruit and sugar. And when our tongues fought for dominance I knew she was all I ever needed, she’s all I’ll ever crave.

“She’s so beautiful, our mate is perfect”, chimed my wolf. I couldn't agree more, she already had me wrapped around her finger.

“Well aren’t you happy”, I heard my brother Charlie say from behind me.

“I didn't hear you come in, you okay bro?”, I asked.

“How is it that you got blessed with Loralei? She is to pure for you”, Charlie asked annoyed.

“I didn't ask for her to be my mate, but she is. And she’s perfect, what is your problem anyway?”, I asked, starting to get angry.

“You don't deserve her”, Charlie shrugged.

“He’s just jealous”, Magnus said to me, making me angry.

“She’s mine, whether I deserve her or not. The Moon Goddess thinks I am worthy of her, why are you being such an asshole?”, I asked.

I never understood why Charlie always found a reason to fight with me, I’ve always tried to be a good brother to him. I used to want to be like him, until he made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with me.

Charlie looked at me and sniffed the air, his eyes locked onto my fresh mark, “She marked you”, he angrily said.

Before I could get a word out our dad walked in, “Is there a problem?”, he asked.

Charlie angrily walked out of my room, “I don't know why he hates me so much dad”, I said.

My dad sighed, “Trent, I just want to say that I’m proud of you, but are you serious about the Alpha Princess?”, he asked.

I was starting to get pissed off and a bit offended that everybody seemed to think I wouldn’t love and cherish my mate, “She is my mate, my heart already belongs to her. I won’t hurt her dad, she is already all I can think about, all I will ever want”, I told him honestly.

He smiled at me, “Good son, that’s all I wanted to hear”, he looked at my mark, surprise evident on his face.

“Looks like Lyla has marked her territory”, he tried to suppress his laughter, “See you at the party”, he chuckled and left my room.

“Magnus, why do you think Charlie hates me?”, I asked him.

“I don’t think he hates us, I know that he’s jealous of you though’, he answered.

“I haven't done anything to him”, I said confused, I tried so many times over the years to get close to him.

“It’s not for me to say”, Magnus said and cut the link. What the hell was that?

I changed into a pair of clean jeans, a white tee shirt, and my black running shoes. I left in search of my gorgeous girl.

Loralei POV

I walked around the party and thanked everyone for coming to our birthday celebration. I could barely focus, my eyes kept looking for Trent. I couldn't believe that I have two mates and they are complete opposites of one another.

I grew up with Jack, he is my first love, the man who was there for me when I needed him the most. His gorgeous green eyes and blonde hair, his six foot two body frame towered over me. I loved how rough he could be, but also how he was only sweet to me, our lycan’s are crazy about each other.

As I looked for Trent, my second mate, I couldn't help but smile. I couldn't believe I had a second mate. His silky curly brown hair, olive skin, and hazel eyes. He is also gorgeous, he would tease me when we were children and we trained daily together. I never would of thought that he would of been mine, I know he meant it when he said that he would do whatever was necessary to prove his love and loyalty to me. Truth is, he had me the minute he came into my room and the smell of hot chocolate and pine hit my nose. As scared and confused as I was, I knew he was meant to be mine.

“You know those sluts will be after him, right?”, Lyla said. She paced angrily in my head.

“I trust him, he submitted to us, he won't hurt us”, I said trying to calm her down.

“It’s not him I’m worried about, but if those bitches go near our mate, I don't think I can control myself”, she huffed.

“Lyla, calm down, he’s ours”, I said to my possessive Lycan.

“That he is”, she said confidently.

I looked up and smiled, Jack was walking towards me with a drink, “How can he look this sexy just carrying a drink?”, I asked myself. Trent was right next to him, a sexy smirk playing on his lips.

Unknown POV

“How is the plan coming along?”, I asked my right hand man.

“Everything is on track sir, in two days we’ll make our move”, he answered.

“Good, now leave me”, I wanted to be alone.

Finally I’ll have what is rightfully mine, the princess will be mine. I think I’ll kill her mate in front of her, just so she knows what it feels like to lose the person you love the most. My life was destroyed because of her mother, so I’ll destroy her life in exchange. She’ll be mine, I will use her as I want when I want.

The knock at my door brought me out of my thoughts. “What do you want”, I asked my sister.

“You promised me that if I got into Silver Moon that you’d give me what I want”, she screeched.

“Stop whining, soon enough sister, you will have that Brent”, I needed her to stick to the plan.

She smiled and came to hug me, “You’re the best brother and his name is Trent”, she happily walked out the room.

Stupid girl, she’ll be the first person I kill once I have the princess, I can't take much more of her spoiled ass.

I need to move forward and avenge the only family I ever had, she’ll pay for her mothers mistake.

At the party

I watched my mates walk towards me, I could feel my cheeks burning, the pack members looked on curiously.

“Hi beautiful”, Jack pecked my lips.

“Hi nani”, Trent placed a kiss on my lips. (Hi Gorgeous) the onlookers definitely looked even more curious at the exchange they just witnessed.

“You”ll have to make an announcement soon baby”, Jack encouraged her.

“I’ll make an announcement tomorrow, I just want to enjoy my birthday”, she compromised.

“Ok babe”, both men said at the same time.

From my peripheral I could see the pack slut Chelsea walking our way.

“Want to dance Trent?”, she asked, batting her fake eyelashes and trying to show off her non existent boobs.

Before I could say anything Lyla came forward, “Get your hand off my mate”, she growled lowly, trying not to make a scene.

Chelsea looked confused, she looked at me then at Jack.

“You heard my mate, get the fuck away from us”, Jack growled lowly.

She looked at me with so much hatred and walked off.

“Baby, I swear I never”-, cut off.

“I know”, I cut him off. I knew that he never hooked up with her, I remember hearing Trent and my brother Adonis talking about her one day. Chelsea had slept around more than they did, they kept saying how she wouldn't stop chasing after them, like a lost puppy or something.

The party continued and for the next few hours I danced with my mates, my brothers, and my dads. I talked to the surrounding pack Alpha’s and hung out with my best friends, Ava and Aria. My feet were killing me but I was having a great time. I walked over to my mom, she was talking to Grandma and Aunt Tasi. It must of been serious, because once I showed up, they stopped talking.

“Hi momma, can you change my outfit please?”, I pouted my lips. She just giggled and a flick of her hand later, I stood in a simple knee length white silk dress with white gladiator sandals.

“Thank you mom”, I kissed her on the cheek and went to find my mates.

My dad Xander grabbed my hand, “We’re going to be making some announcements now honey”, he led me onto the stage, where my brothers were all walking up from the opposite side to join us.

Mom, Aunt Nahla, and Aunt Tasi joined us as well. “I wonder why Aunt Tasi is up here?”, I asked myself.
