Chapter 18

Waking up with the pain in the part of her body she never experienced before, Lisa saw Joseph lying beside her completely naked in her bed. She was doubled over with pain and sore, but she still noticed the sheet was stained with drops of blood. Right off the bat she knew what had happened last night.

It was beyond exciting. Often by the time people need to accept the truth that they were past being able to put words to feelings. It was just a sensation that Lisa had never felt before, the problem was, she had no remembrance of the process at all. How is that possible?

Then a thrill of alarm ran through her.

She put some clothes on and walked to the bathroom, she could barely maintain her balance and moved in a wobbly fashion. looking over the agonizing face in the mirror, she had forgotten what it was like to be that frightened for such a seemingly small matter. You would never know if you were drugged or not, but she didn't have any of the after-effects she would expect.
