Memories

Author's P. O. V.

The car stopped in front of Kapoor's mansion, Yash opened the door and was about to walk out when Yash remembered a memory of his past.

The past he shared with shayra, the past he would never be able to live ever again.

Yash held shayra's hand as the car stopped in front of the river.

" Come," shayra nodded as the driver opened the door for her.

" Thank you," she said to the driver, he was shocked but the old man smiled as soon as she smiled back at him.

Yash was observing all this but he did not say a thing to her.

Shayra walked over to his side as held his arm, the shine of the full moon fell on them as shayra looked at Yash.

"You want to ask something right?" She spoke, Yash looked at her but she was busy admiring the moon.

Her eyes turned to his face as he nodded. "That driver is kinda khadoos, how did you make him smile?" He asked.

Shayra was quiet for a moment before she said," We all fight battles every day, some are shown to the world and some are not even known to ourselves, just smiling at someone, thanking them because they are doing their service, treating a human as a human, it's the bare minimum we can do," shayra said as Yash kept looking into her eyes.

"You amaze me every time I listen to you," Yash said as she smiled.

Biting her lip she looked at him with a shy yet bold look in her eyes," isn't that why you love me?" She asked.

"I love every version of you, each one is different yet it's you, it's your personality to change every day yet you do that with such truthfulness, I can help but fall for you even more," he said as she kept her hands on his shoulders.

His hands reach her back as he pulled her closer reducing the distance between them.

Her breath hitched as he looked at her, " did I tell you how beautiful you look in red" he whispered as he kissed her neck making her take a sharp breath.

" Did I tell you how I love you in every color but I'll love it more if this dress is not separating us?" He asked as she gulped.

His hand traveled to her thighs, and in between her legs, she felt the moisture building. His touch was enough to make her ready for him.

"Did I tell you how bad your red lips are teasing me tonight?" He said as he reached for her panties, he knew he would find her wet enough for him.

He took her hand in his, creating intense eye contact with her as he kissed the top of her knuckles.

"Want to take a swim?" He asked as he looked at the river.

"I was thinking when you'll ask," she said boldly before she took off the dress showing her curves and light stretch marks that are the proof of the pain she went through when she gave birth to their daughter, his princess, Ahana

With that they both jumped into the water, shark naked kissing each other as they shivered in delight.

Let's say they made love in the river.

" Thank you," He said as the driver looked at him through the mirror.

The driver nodded at him before he walked inside the mansion

"Yash," Yash's mother stood up and so did his sister and brother-in-law / best friend.

"Are you okay?" His mother dared to ask even when she knew her son was anything but okay.

He nodded with great difficulty.

" Aahana?" He asked referring to his daughter.

"Sherlin made her sleep," his mother said.

"I am going to my room, maa," he said as he started to walk towards the strais

"Yash, at least eat something," she said but Yash shook his head.

" I am not hungry maa," he said and without listening to her response he went to his room, the room he shared with shayra till yesterday.

He could see each one of the moments he spent here with her, her love, her hate, her Revenge, her tears everything.

He walked inside the walk-in closet and looked at her side clothes.

He took one of her clothes before he walked back to the room.

Sitting on the floor he hugged her dress close to his heart, " I miss you shayra, I always did, always will,"
