Startled by the sudden change in the atmosphere, Drina and Jace raise their faces to the moon, now obscured by a slowly passing cloud. Drina regains her senses first, taking this opportunity to disappear unnoticed. That saves her from answering Jace's delicate question. She's not ready to share her family's secrets with third parties, not even with Beta Jace.

“Shit, shit, shit,” Jace swears when he finds himself alone. He looks around, but Drina is nowhere to be seen. “This Luna Queen has too many secrets. I need to speak to Enrick about this matter," he muttered to himself. Deep in thought, he walks back to the packhouse.

Then he tenses when he thinks of Erina. He suspects some interesting years ahead if she indeed is Enrick's daughter as he suspects.

The moon is back in its old glory.
