The Lies

All Salome wanted right now was to find a place to hide herself forever. At this point, she hated Trina  just like she hated the triplets.

 It  took everything in her  to control herself and be as calm as she could but her tense  body didn't escape the eyes of her mother. 

Heh! baby what's wrong? Why are you shivering? Sabina asked to move closer to salome on the bed. 

Immediately Salome was quick to bottle up her emotion as she wore a smile on her face. Oh what do you mean? 

The thought of living together with not one but three guys with raging hormones is enough to send fears  into me, Salome explained while  her mother burst into laughter. 

She nodded her head in  understanding as she loved as her laugh died down but the ghost of a  smile in her face couldn't be mistaken. Is that why you are so scared?

 At least you won't be lonely anymore and I'm actually feeling  bad putting you through all this Sabina explained taking a seat beside Salome on the bed whose heart is about to burst out of its cage. When her mother said this, it brought tears to her eyes.

 Indeed,Salome could see her young self complaining to her mother of being alone.

Now that she wasn't going to be lonely anymore, it felt like a ton of rock had been placed on her shoulder weighing her down. 

Alright mother, thank you and are you truly happy ?Salome asks solemnly, holding her mother's finger.

She is aware of all the things her mother had been through in the name of finding her own happiness.

 If befriending Alpha Rapheth, the triplets father is what makes her happy then she wasn't going to ruin it.

 Silly of course, I am .What about you?  Are you happy ? Sabina smiled back at her daughter and just for a slight moment the light in Salome's eyes visibly dimed. 

Sabina was unaware of this change.She was busy holding her daughter in her arms. At this moment,the  only  thing Salome wanted to do was to let out all her thoughts and pain but instead she gave her mother a broad smile.

Yeah! I am happy Salome lied  smoothly while her mother let out a series of giggling and chuckles. 

Seeing  her mother smile this way  after so long was enough to dispel any thoughts she had telling her anything.

 They soon arrived at the mansion and were greeted by the maids and servants.

Mainly everyone working in Alpha Rapheth mansion.They were all putting a unique uniform bowing to the mother and daughter as they passed by.

 Things couldn't have been more awkward but finally the walk into the mansion and we're both awed by  the sight before them.

 I hope you finally got what you wish for you ? Lucas' voice draws the mother and daughter's attention out of the amazement as the turn to see Lucas who has silently arrived behind them. What do you mean ?

Sabina asked as she was confused as to what Lucas was on about while  Salome was in silence. It's obvious .It's everyone's dream to live in this big house. I guess you and your daughter are not different.

Making Salome's mouth open in shock.What is going on here? Alpha Rapheth interrupted as he walked down the stairs, his brown eyes frowned together. 

The veins on his forehead  are ticking  each second and judging from the  aura that emanated from him, one could tell how angry he was. 

I was just welcoming them in, Lucas answered with a straight face but Alpha Rapheth’s appearance didn't change one bit. 

One could deduce that he didn't believe anything Lucas said.I apologize for my son's rude behavior.Welcome to my humble abode . 

Alpha Rapheth tries deviating from the topic.Although he apologises, Salome was pissed off of Lucas only a few inches from erupting in anger. 

Oh I understand where he's coming from.Doubt  is inevitable, sooner or later ,he will see for himself Sabina spoke calmly smiling at Lucas who had a terrible look on his face. 

He didn't seem to like her  one  bit . It's better to bite your tongue than spilling out the wrong things from the pool you called your mouth Salome hissed  out. 

Everyone including Lucas was shocked. None of them expected it from her. The one who was shocked most among them all was Lucas who didn't expect Salome to say these words. 

He was quick to mask his shock glaring at her. Welcome to our home a voice called out making them all turn to stare  at Alpha Rapheth.

lt turned out that the other two brothers will behind him their head rough seeing that they just woke up.

Thank you sweetheart Sabina smiles  warmly at them totally ignoring Lucas who soon felt like a black sheep.

 That reminds me who is your fated mate? You boys had a party last night so who is your mate or still haven't found her?  Alpha Rapheth asked.

All of  sudden the air went still.Salome frozen and shocked while the triplets changed a few glasses mindlinking  themselves.

However, Alan's eyes kept drafting towards Salome with a pained expression . Salome caught the look on his face and although she had no idea what was going on ,she felt like her whole life was threading on their answer.

Yes ,we finally found her last night.Lucas answered and all eyes turned to him except Alan who was busy looking at the ground. 

The surrounding air has gone almost as if it was breathing. Really! And you boys didn't tell me who she is? Alpha Rapheth laughed  heartily, slapping Lucas on the shoulder. 

Salome was a bundle of nerves, her heart in her throat as she waited for Lucas' reply. Were they going to also reject her in the presence of their father because she was of a lower class? 

Salome wanted to doubt this but these signs are glaring. Benny had a blank expression as he stared  at Lucas.His thoughts couldn't be read but one thing was sure he didn't seem to  like whatever was going on.

 Just before Lucas would answer,a maid walked in with a lady whose figure was blocked walking behind the maid.Young alpha miss is finally here ,the maid  said and moved aside. 

The lady finally came into view.The moment Salome's eyes landed on the lady her eyes widened in an utmost shock. She snapped her head aside staring at Alan and he avoided looking into her eyes. 

Father meet  our  mate Trina  Williams, our long time girlfriend. Who knew she is destined to be our fated mate ? Lucas asked  as he went to hug Trina.
