The dinner

Salome, hearing her mother calling out to her, Salome, immediately snapped out of her thoughts,She awkwardly cough shifting her gaze away from the two brothers as her mother looked at with confusion all over her face .

 Aren't you going to introduce yourself? Upon her mother's reminder Salome's mouth twists in embarrassment. Immediately facing back the men who were curiously waiting for. Good evening Alpha  Rapheth Galbraith,I'm salome my mother's daughter.Her  introduction was followed by a chuckle from the two youths who were  amused by her behavior.

 It's nice to meet you little girl .I heard so much about you. Alpha Rapheth  stretched out his hands to Salome after much difficulty. 

His dilemma and reluctancy didn't escape the eyes of his sons who know how badly he wanted to pull Salome into a tight hug 

Good evening Alpha  Rapheth, Trina enthusiastically interrupted .Good evening Trina unenthusiastically  Alpha replied but this didn't soiled  Trina's mood as her eyes trailed the two youths behind him.

 Come on, the table is set, let's have a sumptuous dinner. Their  grandma  interferes, stopping the atmosphere from getting weird. With much difficulty and avoidance from the twins Salome still finds herself sitting in between them, sitting on the other side was Trina who looks like she is seconds away from tearing Salome apart. Salome could feel Trina's stare on her and immediately  ignore it pretending to be unbored  by the stares  of the men on each side  of her .

Thankfully eating and talking in the dining room was a strict truth to follow in their house making the dinner less awkward .Salome's grandparents involved a conversation with Alpha Rapheth about Salome pitching in when necessary .The other adults were having their conversation while  Salome was seriously eating  her food. 

She just took a spoonful of food into her mouth when she felt a large palm on her thigh .Immediately sending shivers and shock down her spine.  Her eyes boldly  widen in shock but pretending as if nothing was wrong she stylishly pushes Benny off her thigh.

 Salome  coughs almost choking on her food as Benny's hand becomes bolder also going upward her thigh. One hand holding her cutlery right on the table the other hand moved down the table as if she lost something she extended her  claws and immediately pinched  Benny's  skin and the later quickly withdrew his hand.

 Benny glared  at Salome without hiding it while  Salome had a triumphant smile on her face. My dear, what is wrong with you?  You look sick out of concern Sabina immediately called out to her daughter. 

I'm fine mom. I just want to take a breath on the balcony. I'll be back soon . Alpha  Rapheth, enjoy your meal .Salome humbly spoken up. Please we will be close families soon you can call me Rapheth. The Alpha of the pack Salome and her moved into spoke out no one ever thought that he could be friends with a woman let alone the one not even from their pack .

How could I ?You are the alpha of the silver line pack ,there is no way I will call you by your name Salome said .

Lucas and Benny had cold looks on their faces  as they stared at their father. It was a vast difference from the playful once towards Salome but he pretended not to look at them. He for one knew why they were pissed off and he was not going to do nothing about it .

He for one knows how they hated the low class people and that included Salome and her mother. His friendship with her is something they complained about daily. He and  Sabina alone knew the reason they were doing this.

 Alright Alpha, Salome said immediately walking away from the dining room which no doubt Trina was happy about.

 Lucas took a glance at Salome's retreating figure as she climbed the stairs .His eyes rapidly changed color as he stared at her behind.

 Meanwhile Salome pushed the curtains that danced in the breeze .Standing at the balcony, she took in the serene and closed her eyes oblivion to the shadow behind her. She could feel the bustling of the city ,the chattering of the children, the smell of flowers .All these make this pack  more enjoyable for Salome. 

The one in the shadow slowly walked forward and stood behind  her. It's beautiful isn't it ? a warm and soothing voice rings out to her. Ah ! Salome let out a loud scream .

Losing her balance on the railings as she mis- step. Salome's eyes widened and she didn't believe that this could be the end of her life. Fortunately fate  had his way. 

Salome felt her waist being held as she was made to face the one who startled her. she took a deep breath to calm down as she turned to lash out at the one who scared her staring at the face before her. When did you follow me ? she asks at the youth before her.
