Meeting the Galbraith's

It was finally the D-day. The day  Salome is going to  see  the cause of her mother’s radiance these days.The day she will be meeting her mum's best friend. Oh how much she's been dreaming of this day.

 Salome is my makeup okay? Do I need to change anything ?Her mother's panicked voice brought her back from her fantasy. Snapping out of her thoughts, she stared up at her mother who was standing at the other end of the stairs waiting for her reply for the million times .Mother I swear ,if you ask me this question ,I will leave this gathering. Salome spoke with a charming smile which indeed scared her mother terribly, shaking her head sideways. 

Her mother wore a burgundy luxurious design gown.Salome gazed at her mother with a warmth  smile and then looked  at her grandparents who were in the living room also staring at her mother with a warm smile.

 Indeed most of her relatives were here. Today is the day her mother wanted to introduce her best friend.Salome’s father died when she was five years old since then her mother hasn't been close to anyone.Salome  wanted her mother's happiness finally seeing her mother smiling was enough to make reassured. Everyone in her family supported her mother's close friend as they have never seen her so happy as she used to be.They thought that her mother and her best friend were lovers not until they knew he had a fiancée who knew about the relationship and supported them .

When are they going to be here ?  One could hear giggling in Trina's voice as she asked this question ;  making Salome frown. 

Are you the one getting a new friend or  my mother salome asked? Mind your business. They are here. Now, you girls should behave yourself as you don't want to spoil this for your mother or aunt. Trina's father spoke up from the dining table, shutting the girls who are in their last year of high school although their ages say otherwise. 

Yes uncle Salome said in a way of apology while  Trina rolled  her eyes. Aside from the grandparents, the rest of them stand up the elegant wooden door to welcome  the new relatives .I'm so nervous Salome could hear her mother mumble while  her wolf ran around in happiness. It was a slightly familiar scent in the air that made her breath get stuck. Just as she was about to confirm her suspicions the scent was no more making her more confused. Her  wolf who was just jubilating also stopped as if she had sensed something wrong and strange .Hey!  they are before you not behind you Trina taunting words snapped her back to reality.  A soft knock on the door makes the two young adults stand up right. The door  slowly opened revealing a tall tanned skin man with slightly gray hair and a smiling handsome face. 

In his hand was a bouquet of roses which he immediately handed to salome's mother who look as if she was on cloud nine 

Good evening and I'm  Alpha Rapheth Galbraith Sabina's best friend .He smiled at them all but his eyes were only on  Sabina .

Old man, did you forget to introduce us?  A mature male voice was heard from  behind making everyone puzzle except Sabina who had a maternal smile on her face .

Alpha  Rapheth  Galbraith jaw tipped in raw anger as he closed his eyes. I apologize, these are my sons Lucas and Benny. They notice a slight pause  as he introduces his sons but they shock it off already knowing who the third one was. It seems like it was only Salome who looked Oblivion to this as she only came to stay in silverline park. Good evening beautiful Sirs  and Mas. I'm Lucas, the eldest one of my dumb brothers. 

As Salome stared at Lucas, her mouth  dropped open and shut.How could,she could barely think of anything as the event of two days ago came back to her memory.

She could hear Trina giggling no wonder she was delighted about this meeting and you must be Salome? It's nice meeting you.Benny stretched out a handshake to Salome

who is still in shock and was now getting embarrassed.She could see the playful smile on the face of both brothers making her curse  her ill- luck. Feeling a pinch on her waist,Salome sighed and decided to help her mother get through this no matter how disgusted or unhappy she was.

She took in features of the two youths and despite having the same facial features they were still vague differences about them.

 Lucas was a bit muscular but more muscular than Benny who looked like a stick. However,she couldn't deny the fact that despite having a little bit of muscle there were definitely a lot of girls lined up to be with him.

 At this point, if it is up to Salome the only thing she could do was to run and do everything possible to avoid this gathering but for the sake of her  mother she was willing to stay.

Deep down she knows how uncomfortable it's going to be judging on what happened the other day .
