SAN FRANCISCO

The sound of her phone ringing had woken her up from her deep slumber. She couldn't remember when she fell asleep. Jovy made an attempt to sit up but the whole of her body ached badly and it was almost as if she had been plummeted with a plank during the night and in the early hours of the morning.
