Xena sat quietly as she tried to process what Lynx had just said. She didn't know about the third realm nor had she heard about it before.
"That's strange, I never knew about any of these things. Besides, my family secrets are not told to royals till they come of age. But I will see to it the moment I get the chance to leave this place. That's my first strategy on my revenge scheme."General Lynx gave her a light grin, he was delighted she understood what he explained;"Now you're thinking like a warrior." He commented,"I will give you time to plan and also support your strategies with a few ideas. I believe you'll be unstoppable after this step but first, let's take our leave. this place doesn't seem safe enough to continue this conversation, who knows what creatures are waiting to devour us."Xena didn't protest to Lynx's words, She knew how dangerous the dark realm could be and how ferocious the beast were. The energy berries she was given had started taking its effect; So she got up, shook off the dust from her clothes then she walked back with General Lynx.Xena was overjoyed that General Lynx forgave her but something else still bothered her. She was able to keep her emotions away from Lynx so he wouldn't worry too much about her. He was already too occupied with leading her home as he tried to find a path through those dangerous bushes.the truth was that she couldn't stop thinking about the new friend she had made earlier. She stylishly observed the bushes, wondering where he would have gone and how he managed to vanish so quickly as she prayed in her heart to find him again;"Sneaky wolf, I hope you come back to me soon, I miss you already, can't wait to see him again." Xena murmured to herself. The first realm council were in a hot seat on the account of Zina's upcoming coronation. Duke Charles and Lady Tatiana were opposing each other, giving why their opinion should count as Zina and Sire James listened to them."Duke Charles, I understand what you're trying to say but I don't agree with it." Lady-Tatiana pouted her lips in disapproval, not relenting on her point."How can you say the coronation of our to-be queen should be done simple, we have to go the extra mile!" Lady Tatiana stated her point with a slightly raised tone.Lady Tatiana was one of the decision makers of the first realm. She's bossy, and has a great sense of fashion thus making Duke Charles' suggestion sound like treason to her ears.Sire James on the other hand was trying to calm Duke Charles down, his ears were almost bleeding. He knew Lady Tatiana had always liked grand parties and balls so she could flaunt her expensive dresses in front of other dignitaries. Besides, he knew there was no point arguing with Tatiana as it would lead to achieving nothing on any issue."I think we should let the princess decide, she has her likes and dislikes. Moreover, this is her coronation ceremony, she has the right to tell us how and where she wants it to take place". Sire James suggested in his cool voice.Immediately Sire James made that statement, both their heads turned to the princess waiting for her response but all they got was her silence."Your majesty!" Lady Tatiana called out making Zina jolt back to reality,"Is everything alright with you? You seem to be far away from this conversation, would you like a drink, perhaps water?" Tatiana asked, feeling concerned. Her eyes scanned Zina to make sure she was fine."Lady Tatiana, I'm fine," Zina assured the moment she noticed Tatiana's gaze."Let's talk about it some other time shall we? I don't seem to be in the right state of mind today." Zina said, getting set to take her leave."But your majesty we shouldn't, your coronation is only a week away and you know it would be a disaster if we don't plan for it now."Lady Tatiana tried to reason with her but she showed no interest."Only I can say when I want to be crowned! Lady Tatiana, I can move the date till when I want, don't forget I'm the crown Princess!" and with that, Zina excused herself from their midst. She took a stroll to the garden where she saw Levi tending the flowers as always. She rolled her eyes, feeling disgusted as she recalled their last encounter. However, for some odd reasons, she called out to him."Young man, do you mind if I watch you work? I didn't want to ask for your permission but at the same time, I didn't want to hear the news that a princess like me was staring at you while you carried out your duties."The only place she found peace was the garden, that's why she insisted on watching him work. The load on her head was too much to bear.Levi gave her a cheeky smile, he knew she was bored And she didn't know how to express herself well so he decided to tease her;"What do you want to talk about your royal Highness? I know you're bored and tired of all these royal activities, you should take some time off for yourself, else you'll get old quickly and I won't want that to happen.""And why do you care, you barely know me and you shouldn't! I am your crown Princess, show me some…"Respect!" Levi helped Zina finish her statement. He took in a deep breath before continuing his statement;"Look Zina, someday you'll realise that you should have paid as much attention to yourself as you did to that throne. Don't say I didn't warn you, I'm just trying to be a good friend but it seems you don't need one because you're better off on your own. I wish you the best Zina, oh my apologies, your Royal Highness." He ended in a mocking tone.Zina quickened her steps to get far away from the garden but she still felt different considering most of the things Levi said got to her.She came to a realization that what Levi said was the truth. She was bored and stressed from all the kingdom's affairs so she decided to take his advice. She sent a guard to inform Levi that he was invited for a royal lunch with her. When the news got to Levi, he couldn't contain his joy. He danced to the sound of the wind, tending his flower quickly and rushing home like a racehorse determined to win the race. By the time he returned to the palace, he was almost unrecognizable as he looked dashing. His dreads was packed on the upper side while the lower side was left neck length, he dressed like a cowboy, his shirt hugging his well built body. The cloth he wore commended his slightly light melanin tone which made his brown eye colour stand out, and he wore the perfect boot to match, he was truly a beauty to behold."I didn't know he could look this good, I guess I underestimated this youngman". Zina thought to herself smiling till Levi interrupted by teasing her some more."It seems someone is smitten by my good looks and has forgotten her royal manners. I'll pardon you as a friend just because you took my advice to have a little fun." He grinned to show his perfectly arranged teeth."Fun?" Zina replied in confusion."I thought this was to make me less bored, I just need to be relieved of royal duties for a while."She thought to herself, gaping at Levi."Young man, let's go to the dining table, shall we?" Levi nodded to her words, following her without any objections.Levi followed Zina like an obedient child waiting for his reward up the magical stairs that led to the dining. He showed much excitement, checking out the palace's decor as he wowed in amusement, having a feeling his dreams were coming true. Different cuisines were placed before both of them, and Zina who was paying so much attention to Levi noticed he wasn't eating. She thought he didn't know what he wanted because of the way he stared at the table. After much observation, she noticed he was staring at the cutleries."Do you know how to use them?" Zina asked him sincerely in the calmest voice she had ever used. He seemed to have a worried expression on his face but when he noticed how sincere Zina was at that time, he answered her with the truth;"There are too many cutleries, why do we need so many? One cutlery can be used for all these meals, Zina, I don't see the need for so many cutleries."For the first time Zina smiled at his innocence; "Do you always have to be like this,
She nodded, slowly opening her eyes to Levi who noticed they were already teary, he was right! She was absolutely scared. He stretched out his hand for her to take but she didn't. He had never seen anyone so scared. Right now, all he wanted to do was to protect and help her calm down, so he came up with a crazy idea. He stood on the moving horse as he studied the movement of Zina's horse. After some time, he leaped onto Zina's horse while signaling both horses to stop at the same time. When Zina noticed the horses were no longer moving, she hurried down as quickly as she could;"Thank you young man you are indeed…""Enough!" Levi screamed out in anger, giving no room for her royal appreciation."You could have gotten hurt, don't you think about anything, what were you trying to prove. Why didn't you tell me you weren't able to ride a horse!" "Don't talk to me that way! At least I was trying to have fun like you said, but each time, you only see wrong in what I do. You complain abo
"Why do you choose to act this way my princess, don't you know the kingdom's eyes are on you? Yet you go out to have fun with a commoner. He's not even of your own status, he's a mare gardener. Don't you think you're giving him too many opportunities to get too close to you? You aren't even preparing for your coronation ceremony. I heard the council members say you threatened to cancel, is that true?"Zena looked at Ann with tired eyes. She knew Ann was truly worried about the kingdom's welfare;"I will then have to postpone the coronation. Send words to the council members and also to the king of the second realm, tell him I am truly sorry for the inconvenience. And nanny please do not wake me up so early tomorrow, you know fully well I had a long day. Just in case Levi comes by, tell him I had a great time and would love to spend another time with him. Good night nanny." She spared herself from Ann's tantrums by concluding their conversation.Ann was left speechless. She knew her
"Where have you been nanny? I asked some of the palace maids and they said it's been a while since you left. You got me worried."Ann was absolutely nervous she didn't know what to tell the princess so she quickly changed the topic;"A letter came in from the king of the second realm and it seems he wants to have a private meeting with you. I think you should send your approval to him to enable you both to meet quickly, maybe he is already smittened by your beauty."Her words were like lightning bolts to Zina's heart, compelling her to speak;"Smitten? No, that's not even possible. we haven't even met. I only recall my meetings with his right hand man sir Marcus but that doesn't mean the king has picked interest in me. Send him a letter of my approval, I hope to see him soon." Zina spoke in an unseen worried tone."You have made the right decision once again my princess, entertaining the king would bring the peace you have always seeked. Maybe your arranged meetings with sir Marcus pa
Levi tried calming Akeelah down but she kept screeching non stop;"Get down here Akeelah, we have no choice and believe me, Wanda isn't all that bad, she just has a very high tendency of going wild. I know you're scared she'll demand you as a price but I can't give you to her because you're my spirit animal, we cannot be separated."After Levi's assurance, Akeelah Landed on his shoulder. She rubbed her head against his cheek to show that she was happy with his stand. "Let's go pack our things, we leave at dusk." He informed Akeelah as he stepped into his cottage.Wanda was Levi's cousin's best friend. She had been obsessed with him since childhood and would do anything to have him to herself. She was the daughter of a warlock and her mother was a Banshee, a very pretty one who didn't speak much. But Wanda was nothing like her mother. Her mother left because of her father's attitude and never returned so Wanda had to spend lots of time with her dad which made her hate her mom even mor
"Levi, are you alright?" Please open up," Janet begged countless times, banging loudly, but he refused to . She placed her hands on her chin, wondering what could have happened when it dawned on her that Levi and wanda have always been cat and mouse to each other."I better go check how Wanda is doing. I hope she's handling her emotions well. She knows fully well that she's half warlock, half banshee, she isn't supposed to wail. I hope she remembers this." Janet concluded, running quickly to her friend's place. Her panting was heard as soon as she got to Wanda's home, she saw her friend laying on the ground, face flat on the floor. As if sensing Janet's presence, she spoke in a sorrowful tone "I don't know why Levi doesn't love me, did I do anything wrong? I made up my mind to use my power for good from a very young age but still he doesn't love me…" she dragged the last statement, in the process, she cried out even louder."Shhh, shhh," Janet comforted her friend, wiping off the te
Liam gave her a light kiss before placing her back on the chair. He wondered what could be done to restore Wanda back to shape so she could figure out how to save Levi. As if knowing his thoughts, she pointed towards the box close to the cupboard, giving instructions to Liam to give her the bottle with the green mixture. She explained to them that she tried to broaden her knowledge in magical things that's why she's also able to create mixtures like that.Liam watched Wanda as she gulped down the slimy thick green liquid that emitted a shiny light as it went into her body and within some minutes, Her energy was restored. She examined Levi then turned to Liam to give him the solution which wasn't an easy one."We need to find out what is going on in his subconscious and I don't really know how to do that. What do you think we should do?" Wanda asked, almost on the verge of chewing her nails.Liam, who had been paying a lot of attention to Wanda's words, approached her, seeming embarras
Don't forgive her so easily," Janet interrupted with puppy eyes, "She has to agree to go for a get-together picnic with us."Levi shook his head negatively to Janet's request,"We can't have a get-together because I won't be staying long, you know I've got to find out what dad meant in his incomplete message. Also, I want to win the heart of my princess very quickly, I wouldn't want any other guy to replace me in her heart."Janet had positioned herself to express her disappointment however, Wanda interrupted her;"Of course we would have the get-together picnic Janet wants owning to the fact that you can't just leave now. I need to observe you for sometime, see how that new chain works on you. Magic isn't meant to be rushed, let's watch how you can handle this for a little while and you can have fun while you're at it too."Janet gave Wanda a warm smile. She loved to see her friend really happy. She looked at Levi in a silly manner as she stood up to inform everyone she was going to
