CHAPTER99-APOLOGIES.

The rest of the journey was quiet. No one wanted to talk because there was nothing to be said.

"How far?" She spoke after a long while.

"We're here." He answered, pointing to the huge house in front of them.

"Is this Janet's house?" She asked with a smile.

"No. This is Wanda's house." She didn't speak, however she just looked for a way to come out of his hold.

"Do you need me to drop you?" He asked and she nodded shyly.

"I didn't mean to stare at your lips." She explained with a narrow gaze. Her cheek was red due to embarrassment.

"You didn't answer my question from the beginning." He stared at her for a long time but she turned her face away. "Is it better if I don't answer you?" She gazed into his eyes causing him to sighed tiredly.

"It's fine." He said, gesturing to her at the door.

"Aren't you scared?" Xena, who was in front of Levi, turned back to look at him before turning back to the door.
