Tessa eventually stopped crying when Ivy took her from her father and fed her. The twins slept off and their mother took them to their room.

The room had been decorated by Tarquin and her, they had done so much work that day and it was worth it. The room was everything they had imagined and wanted.

Ivy returned to the sitting room and started eating. Tarquin ate a bit of the salad and dropped it.

"You're so beautiful," Tarquin said and smiled at her.

"Do you just say that out of the blue? You're so funny." Ivy giggled and shook her head.

"I'm just telling the truth, why would I see the beauty and keep quiet, that would be inhumane of me," Tarquin smirked and pecked her cheek.
