~Aliyana’s POV~

It had been two months since the poison incident. Two long, quiet, and heavy months.

Every day, I woke up with the same thought lodged behind my ribs like a shard of glass—Calista. Her smirk, her fake sympathy, her laughter that still rang in my ears. I hadn’t forgotten. I couldn’t.

I spent those two months trying to piece together how she’d done it. The timing. The access. The motive. She had them all. And yet, she walked freely through the halls, hair always perfect, voice always sugar-sweet when she spoke to anyone but me.

Each time I saw her, my hands itched for my blade.

But I couldn’t move without proof. Not yet.

So I watched. I waited. I learned the rhythm of her days, the way she lingered around the kitchens a little too often, how she whispered to servants when she thought no one was looking. I made sure she noticed me watching sometimes. Just enough to keep her uneasy.

That was my revenge for now. The slow kind.

But when I wasn’t thinking of Calista, my thoug

  • To Tame The Monster Alpha   Chapter 60

Aliyana’s POVThe next morning came like a blur. I didn't remember falling asleep, but when my eyes opened, the dim light spilling through the barred window told me it was already another day.Silence.That was all there was.No footsteps in the corridor, no servants bringing breakfast, no familiar knock from Maren telling me to get ready.Just silence, heavy and loud enough to drive me insane. My throat was dry. My stomach ached from hunger, but that wasn’t what hurt the most. What hurt was the thought of Alessia’s voice echoing in my head, replaying over and over. You’re not my sister. Each time I heard it again, it cut deeper.I sat on the floor, knees pulled to my chest, staring at the single ray of light crawling across the stone floor. I had tried calling for someone at first, pounding on the door, demanding to be let out. But no one came.No answer. No sound.Just the faint, haunting quiet of my own thoughts.I had been locked away before, but this was different. This wasn’t pu

  • To Tame The Monster Alpha   Chapter 59

~Aliyana’s POVThe world felt like it had slowed down, but everything around me was moving in chaos. The screams, the laughter, the murmurs of the pack, it all blurred together into one haunting echo that made my stomach twist.Alessia was still in the middle of the training yard, her arms bound, her knees pressed into the dirt. The warriors circled around her like spectators at some cruel show. Every strike of the whip against her skin sounded like thunder tearing through my chest.I wanted to scream.I wanted to run to her.But Nolan’s eyes were there. Watching me. Measuring me.Every lash Alessia took, I felt it burn through my veins. She was trembling now, blood trickling down her back, her once-silver hair stained crimson at the tips. I could barely breathe, but I kept my head up, pretending to be calm while my heart was breaking apart inside me.Around me, the pack members were whispering things—cruel, disgusting things. Calling Alessia a traitor. Saying she deserved it. Saying

  • To Tame The Monster Alpha   Chapter 58

~Aliyana’s POV~The sound of the lock turning startled me awake. Morning light barely touched the corners of the room, soft and cold, painting the walls in pale gray. I blinked, sitting up slowly, disoriented. My wrists still ached from being bound earlier, though Nolan hadn’t allowed the guards to tie me for long. I didn’t know how much time had passed, only that I’d stopped counting. The door opened, and a familiar voice said flatly, “You’re being released.”Maren.I frowned, confused. “What?”She stepped inside, her face unreadable as always, though something in her posture felt off. “Get ready. Lord Nolan wants everyone at the training yard.”Everyone.The word lodged in my chest like a stone. Why would he want everyone there? Why now?I stood, smoothing my wrinkled clothes. “Did he say why?”“No.” Her tone was clipped, distant. My stomach twisted uneasily. “And why am I being released early?”Her eyes flicked to me briefly, then away. “Orders.”“Maren,” I said, following her as s

  • To Tame The Monster Alpha   Chapter 57

~Aliyana’s POV~The walls felt smaller with every breath I took. The air in my room was heavy, stale, suffocating. I had lost count of how long I’d been locked away—hours, maybe a day—but the silence pressed against my ears like a punishment. I sat near the window, knees tucked under my chin, staring at the faint sliver of moonlight that cut through the curtains.Everything still felt unreal. The look on Nolan’s face when he’d caught me in the dungeon burned in my memory. He hadn’t spoken right away—he didn’t need to. Fury radiated off him like heat from a forge. His eyes had been sharper than I’d ever seen them, not the usual teasing silver glint, not the mocking arrogance I’d grown used to, but something raw, dangerous, unrestrained. It wasn’t the anger of a man who’d been disobeyed. It was the rage of someone whose control had been publicly challenged. And I’d done that.I clenched my fists, trying to push away the image of Alessia, bruised and broken in that cell. The shock on her

  • To Tame The Monster Alpha   Chapter 56

~Nolan’s POV~The sound of her defiance still echoed in my head long after I left her room.Every word, every glare, every trembling breath that dared to challenge me, burned like acid in my mind. I had been patient. I had tolerated her sharp tongue, her constant disobedience, her need to question everything. But today, she crossed a line. The moment I saw her in the lower cells, standing in front of Alessia,I felt something split inside me.It wasn’t jealousy. It wasn’t pain, It was rage. Pure, blinding rage.Because she made me look weak. The guards had seen her. The council had already started whispering. The Alpha’s bride, sneaking into the dungeons to defend a prisoner accused of treason. My prisoner. My decision. My command. And she undermined it in front of everyone. When I entered the council chamber, the whispers stopped, but their eyes didn’t. They never stopped watching. Even when they bowed their heads, I could feel it, doubt creeping like rot under the surface.Elan spoke

  • To Tame The Monster Alpha   Chapter 55

~Aliyana’s POV~The air in the room had grown heavier since Nolan left. I could still feel the echo of his presence, like the storm that lingers long after the thunder has gone quiet. My palms were sweaty, my breath uneven, and yet I forced myself to stay still, to keep that sliver of control that he hadn’t managed to break. The guards had bolted the door from the outside. I could hear the metal scrape every time I tried the handle. It was useless. The walls were thick, the windows sealed. I wasn’t leaving anytime soon.I sat back on the cold floor, hugging my knees. My head throbbed with the weight of everything that had just happened. Alessia. Seeing her again, chained and bruised, had torn something inside me open. I thought I was strong enough to face anything, but the sight of her like that made me crumble in ways I didn’t want to admit. The memory kept flashing before me—her eyes, the silent plea in them, the weakness of her voice when she whispered my name. And Nolan. His face
