Chapter 10

I FLINCHED WHEN I opened my eyes as the sun rays crept through my sight and I felt a tingling pain in my head. Did I hit my head on a rock or on something hard? Ugh.

"Are you feeling alright?" I heard someone asked.

I turned my head to my right side and was taken aback when I saw Andrei, sitting on my bedside chair, waiting for me to rise from the dead. That was a little too much of a metaphor, though.

"Y-yeah, I feel good. W-what are you doing here?" I stuttered. I swear to God, I am so terrified at the moment. "I just want to know if you're okay and uh..I want to talk to you about the letter I received," he explained.

Do I need to explain it right now? Like as in at this very moment?

"Well look, that was a mistake and--," I attempted to explain but he cut me off, "mistake? the address was very specific, it was obviously intended for me to receive," he countered. "I didn't write any name, though," I tried opposing. "Still, I received the letter," he kept up.

So what's his point? I
