THE NEXT THING I know, it's already eight in the evening and I can hear my mom telling Travis to wake me up for dinner. I smiled because they never changed, my mom still shouts when she says something and Travis, still being the stubborn son. I stretched before standing up and getting out my room. I walked down the stairs and went straight to the kitchen, finding my mom who's now preparing for dinner. I hurriedly walked towards her and squeezed her into hug while her back was facing me. She immediately turned around and threw me a huge hug.

"I missed you, my offspring!" She laughed after pulling away. "You're not normalizing that as a term now, mom!" I protested, laughing. "Oh why? That's a good term instead of daughter, isn't it?"
