To the Men Who Would Want to Fall for Me

EVERY TIME I HEAR knocks on the door, I think it might be Charlie. Like he would come and get on his knees and apologize for what he did. I mean, 6 months of relationship is kind of long, you know? Who would want to trash the moments we have invested with each other that easily?

Yea, of course  it's Charlie.

Tears have filled my eyes upon remembering him and his "Fawn, it's over" breakup line. But before it could fall, my friends-slash-roommates have arrived. They hugged me as soon as they reached my bed and then, finally, my tears ricochet.

"Awwe, hush now, Fawnie. We're already here," Kayle, the sweetest among us, sincerely said while wiping my tears away.

Kayle Benitez is the type of friend who will comfort you with the sweetest voice and gesture. However, she tends to sugarcoat things sometimes just to make a matter look good. Like how she would compliment our neighbor's outfit even if it's not good just to make her feel beautiful. But that's Kayle, she don't mean bad, she just don't like hurting other people.

"Yea and for the record, that's your 6th relationship, so far. You've been in a lot of bullshit relationships, Fawn. You should have learned your lessons by now and quit crying over a crappy guy," Chandler said while sitting in front of me. She even rolled her eyes to convince me that Charlie is just an another shithead boy with no balls.

"But Chandie, Charlie is different, I fell deeply in love with him. And for the record, he was my longest boyfriend," I rebutted and tears are once again threatening to burst.

Chandler once again rolled her eyes. I shouldn't be arguing with Chandler Kitten Mendoza because she's narrow-minded when it comes to matters like this. She would always say that boys will be boys. They are all the same, bullshit, crappy, balls-less men. Yea, that's how she describe men. She dates but she doesn't want to commit and she throw guys like used tissues when she's done with them.

Well, of course, we tried to give her sermons about what she's doing with guys but she's Chandler. We will just wait for the day that she could find someone who will match her strong personality.

But at least, she's not fake, my mind screamed.

"Chandie, shut up. Fawn's in love with the crappy guy you're talking about. Can't you just pretend you're here to comfort her? Besides, Charlie's not that bad, he's just..." Jess paused.

Jessica Chen, the  mediator in our clique. It's always her job to stay in between and do her best to calm both parties. And yes, she's a Chinese, well half. Her father is a strict Chinese while her mother is a conservative Filipina. Imagine how modest she can be when she's at home. And actually, that's one of the reasons why she barely want to go home.

"A jerk?" Chandler smirked.

"Yes, a jerk. What? No. Just...well let's just say, he's...fuck yea, he's a jerk. Sorry Fawnie. But you know, on the brighter side, you're now free from that tiring relationship, right?" she nervously said and Chandler chuckled.

"See? He's just an another guy with no balls," Chandler once again commented.

I just looked at them, allowing my tears to flow down to my cheek.

"And Fawnie, you'll get over him just like how you got over with Andrew, Mike, Marco, Dominic, and Louie. Plus the guys you hadn't been in a relationship with but got attracted nevertheless. See? Charlie is just one of the guys who temporarily stayed in your life," Kayle said, matter of factly.

"Ouch, Kay," I said, sighing.

She smiled apologetically then shrugged.

I straightened my body and start wiping the tears away.

"You guys are right. Charlie is just a guy who came into my life to be my lesson. Besides, everything happens for a reason. Maybe it's the universe's way to tell me that the destined guy for me is yet to come. And maybe it's a sign that Charlie's better off without me, I mean you know, we would be happier if we part ways," I sighed, "breakups are blessing in disguised, actually because you're gaining the peace you've lost the minute you started the relationship," I said, smiling at the three bitches in front of me.

"Yea?" Chandler asked, beaming. "Yea, I'll get over him," I shrugged, smiling.

"That's my girl!" she reached for me and squeezed the hell out me.

Kayle and Jess followed as they squeezed me into a hug as well. Then, they smiled at me like idiots.

"So this is how you comfort your broken hearted friend? Talk shit about her ex boyfriend?" I asked them, chuckling as soon as we bounced back on our places.

"As always. There's no other way, Fawnie. Knowing you? If we weren't here, you would actually call him and apologize for accepting his quote-and-quote impulsive break up decision," Chandler rolled her eyes and even gestured quotations in the air.

"Or maybe you'll convince yourself that he's just mad or confused. That eventually, he'll come back and say sorry because you know, that's the usual Fawn we know after a breakup," Kayle added.

"Okay fine, thanks to all of you because if it weren't for y'all, I'll be demonizing myself that he's still in love with me even if no," I sarcastically said and they laughed.

"So, movie Marathon?" Jessica suggested, lifting the mood up.

I looked at her and was about to say no when Kayle cut me off, "nah, nah, nah. Netflix can't wait to see you."

"I feel tired, girls. Not tonight, please?" I said lazily, lying down on my bed.

Jessica and Chandler then pulled me up and forced me to stand up.

"I so hate you girls," I growled and I heard them laugh.

"Witches!" I shouted before closing the door behind me.

Jess turned on the TV in the living room and opened Netflix. She scrolled and scrolled until she ended up with Sex Ed Season 2.

Kayle and Chandler went to the kitchen to grab some snack and soda.

I sat on the sofa beside Jess and hugged the white feathered-pillow.

"Why Sex Ed?" I asked without looking at her, "it will help you to move fucking on!" she exclaimed, laughing.

"By watching teenagers' sex sessions?" I asked, chuckling and then she shrugged answering, "why not?"

After a moment, Kayle and Chandler arrived with a big bowl of nachos and four cans of soda.

"So what's on the big screen?" Chandler asked, placing the bowl of nachos on the table in front of us.

"Sex Ed Season 2." Kayle answered, looking at the TV and nodding at the same time.

She has successfully placed the cans of soda beside the bowl of nachos as well.

"Oh, exciting!" Chandler exclaimed while sitting on the other side of Jess while Kayle sat beside me.

"Okay, let's go ep 1!" Chandler once again exclaimed.

I heard the familiar sound of Netflix indicating that episode 1 was starting. I then glanced at my friends and they were sternly looking at the screen in front of us.

And as usual, the episode have started with a sex scene and I heard the girls whispered, "ooohhhh" in unison while I just laughed at their reaction.

So Otis have finally learned how to ejaculate, huh? And Eric, his best friend was very happy for his improvement.

We all laughed when Otis had to stop his bicycle and ran to the forest to satisfy his fantasies. Well, he has to release an orgasm. I mentally shrugged.

"He can't stop ejaculating! What a perv," Kayle said while laughing. "Ms. Benitez, it's not being a perv, it's called, human need." Chandler rebutted, rolling her eyes.

"We can't argue with Kitten," I said, shrugging.

Chandler reached for me and hardly pinched my arm.

"Aww! You, cat!" I screamed, laughing.

"How many times should I tell you bitches that I'm not a cat so don't call me by my second name!" She exclaimed and we all laughed at her.

"Okay, come on kids, resume watching." Jess quiets us down then we all chuckled because of her term "kids".

We gestured zipping our mouths and started watching again.

Tonight, this is what I really need: nachos plus soda plus movie plus friends. Hello, great night!
