Mark was twenty minutes late.

As he entered the bridal shop, the bell over the door tinkled, and he twirled his jacket off, and not paying much attention to the room, as if it were nothing more than a dream.

"Ava?" he called.

Half-dressed, just as she was about to leave the mirror, stood Ava, in an ugly white dress that the seamstress was prodding at her waist.

"You're late," she said lowly.

"Sorry," Mark replied. "Traffic."

  • Too Young To Want Him   An Unexpected Meeting

The hall was quieter now in the hospital, but the tension was still in the air like a heavy thing which could not be moved. Marcus was standing above the window, his hands crossed, and his eyes were far away as he considered all the events that had transpired in recent days. Ava lay in the room, and, though nothing was going on, his head was not as serene as before in the course of the hours. With a slow sigh, he rubbed his forehead. Then he heard a voice that was known to him."Marcus."He turned immediately."Elena..." he said, surprised.

  • Too Young To Want Him   Still in Danger

The passage leading outside of the emergency room seemed lifeless and infinite when Marcus stood there, and could not sit, could not move, his eyes staring at the closed doors before him. Nurses and doctors had rushed Ava in a few minutes ago, and this is why time seemed to move so slowly and heavily since the moment that it was going on; each minute was torturing him.His breath came irregularly as he stroked his hair.“Just make her okay... just make her okay,” he said to himself. One of the nurses passed by him in a hurry, but Marcus held her.“Excuse me, please,” he said, his voice straining. "How

One of her hands was on her stomach, and her face was pale and strained. She moved a little, flinching."Why does it hurt again..." she whispered. The pain began as a small one, similar to a tight beating in her lower abdomen, but in a very short duration, it intensified.Ava gasped softly."No... not again..."S

  • Too Young To Want Him   Fighting for the Baby

The following day, the hospital room was different. It was not silent and motionless anymore. Nurses were coming and going, checking machines, writing notes, and talking in low tones. Ava was sitting up on the bed, but resting. She had a small monitor attached to her, which displayed her heartbeat and that of the baby. One of the doctors entered with a file in his hand.“Good morning,” Ava replied in a low tone.In the room, Marcus was already present. He had arrived early and had not quit since the previous evening. He was standing close by the window and taking notice. The doctor examined the two.

  • Too Young To Want Him   An Apology Too Late

The room remained silent following the breakdown of Marcus. It was the sound of his shrill breathing. As Ava sat on the bed, she took her heart, watching him. She had not seen him in these ways.Marcus wiped his face gradually with his hands, yet the tears streamed in.“I am sorry,” he said again, and it was a low and broken voice.Ava didn't reply.Marcus drew a long breath and endeavoured to calm down. Then he looked at her again.“I will not excuse myself, I will not excuse myself,” he said. "I know what I did."

  • Too Young To Want Him   The Surviving Twin

  • Too Young To Want Him   Kept at a Distance

The voice of Elena was smooth and calm, except that something sharp underlined it, and Ava paused to walk."No," Elena said firmly. • Too Young To Want Him   Under the Same Roof

The ride to the home of Marcus was silent. Too quiet. Ava sat in a passenger seat with clasped hands over her stomach and looked through the window as the city lights went by. Marcus maintained a focus on the road, closed his mouth and his mind was not in the moment. Nobody said anything and the sil

  • Too Young To Want Him   No Place to Stand

Ava entered the house and shut the door as gently as possible. The silence still seemed too loud in the sound. • Too Young To Want Him   Cracks in the Walls

The house was too quiet.Elena was standing in the bedroom, gazing at the open wardrobe as though she had been betrayed by it.
