~ Thorne's POV ~

I sat down on the cold tiled floor unable to believe what she had said. Her words kept looping in my head like a cruel refrain. How could she have done something so… heartless?

When we kissed that very day at the cottage, she had kissed me in such a way that gave me all the confidence in the world that she loved me.

Even if she never told me she loved me back, the way she smiled at me, kissed me, and hugged me convinced me that she loved me. I kept telling myself every day that I didn't need to hear those words from her, that her actions were enough to prove that I owned all of her heart.

But all this time, I had been making a fool out of myself believing that I owned her heart, not knowing I was sharing it with someone else, or maybe I didn't even have a place in her heart.

How could she have fooled me this way? How could she have accepted to be mine and still went ahead to be involved with both Raven and Lucian?
