~ Aria’s POV ~

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, and I smiled widely—not because of my pretty face, but because of how my three monsters had made the witches apologize to me. It was something I’d never expected from them, but they did it anyway.

“Aria!” Callista called my name as she entered the room.

“What’s up?” I asked, combing my silver-white hair.

“You’re not going to believe what I just found out!” she beamed, practically bouncing with energy.

“What did you find out?” I asked, curiosity piqued.

She strode closer to me and showed me a video. My face tinted into a frown when I saw it was a video of me running while the giant squirrel was chasing me. The witches had made a video of it.

“Is this fun to you?” I asked, without trying to hide my anger. I didn’t expect Callista to be making fun of me.

“I knew you’d be mad,” she said quickly, “which is why I saved the best one for last.”

She tried showing me another video again, but I objected. “If you’re trying to make fun of me,
