Jervis's POV

I gnawed at my lower lip as my tears cascaded to the floor and my thigh. I could not contain the seething envy within me, so I released it in the form of tears. Undoubtedly, they will forge a stronger bond with each passing moment.

I yearn to trail behind them, but it would be egregiously unjust to Rose, who finally has the opportunity to go on a date with someone she has harbored affection for over an extended period of time.
